Nürburgring Südschleife 1927-1972 - The 'South Loop' of the Nürburgring.

The Nürburgring Südschleife was a track in use from 1927 to 1974, it was the 'South Loop' of the Nürburgring with the Nürburgring Nordschleife (North Loop) being larger and much more popular.
Even after several safety changes to the track in 1973, the track was ultimately closed and abandoned in 1974 and then partly demolished in 1982 to make way for the new GP circuit.
