What is the quickest car around the Nürburgring, both road and race? No restrictions. Fully tuned. Not counting the X2010, X2011, FGT, F2007, or F2010.

Would I be correct in saying it'd be the Sauber-Mercedes C9 #63 '89 for a race car and the Pagani Zonda R '09 for a road car?

The Zonda would certainly be a contender. Perhaps the Toyota 88C, too. It must be one of the LMP/ Class C race cars if not the F1 cars or RedBull.

EDIT: Technically, the Zonda R isn't a road car, IIRC.

Race: Pescarolo C60 or Peugot 905

Road: GTR Black edition or Lamborghini Aventador

All depending on your own driving skills, not?

For fastest times on the Ring look here..

Good luck catching them up 👍

that list isn't updated and people are using all kinds of tires, and not to mention some people drive like the wheels will fall off the thing if they hear any tire screaching.

i think the fastest road car would be the Mclaren F1 (i will be glad to defend its title haha)

i don't enjoy driving the LMP cars, so i don't have an anwser for that one.

what i meant was, i made a post asking for fastest lap times for a certain car a while back, and of all the lists i came across nothing was even close (for that car) to what people are running online.

he's almost better off waiting for people to post the times they have witnessed people doing.
i'll run my fully tuned Mclaren (no wing) tonight at the nordy ring and post up my lap time for ya. maybe we can get a bit of a challenge going, could be fun

Nurburgring Nordschleife
Mclaren F1 fully tuned (except for wing) 05:57.3XX
grip set to real
tire wear off

for 625PP my fastest cars are my RX-7 TC... 6:15 average lap time... got it to 6:04 one time and my tune got reset because of an update:mad::mad: my NSX-R prototype LM race car, got 6:18 with it, and my CLK touring car, got around 6:19 with that... it's a cornering machine, no beef past 180 MPH because of full downforce.
For street,
458 Italia, Got a 6:22 running at 615 PP

All of this is with no assists, ABS on 1, weak penalties, light damage, low track edge, and racing soft tires. I'm using a G27 wheel.

I have a 5:24 with my Toyota GT-ONE Race Car (TS020) ’99. This is the faster LMP i have at least on the ring. Mercedes-Benz Sauber Mercedes C9 Race Car ’89 / Peugeot 905 Race Car ’92 / Toyota MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car ’89 / Audi R8 Race Car ’01 and Bentley Speed 8 Race Car ’03 are very close.
Generally ,LMP cars with a steady line and a easiest throttle control are faster on the Nordschleife than others "wild horses". Driving line and early acceleration are the most important.
