depends on what i'm searching for... i wouldn't buy crappy shoes at 9,99$ at Wal-Mart...

Yes, I wear name-brand clothes, but if I see something I really like, I'll buy it regardless of who who makes it. :)

Right now I'm just wearing DKNY dress slacks, Doc Martens and a cheapo undershirt, because who wants to spend money on an undershirt?

Oh, boxers and socks if you were wondering, also. Heh.

Well yes I wear namebrand. In my area though if you wear that sort of stuff to school it is not "namebrand." Where I live "namebrand" is stuff like Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, American Eagle, Structure, Gap, Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer, and the new line of Express for men. I wear that sort of stuff since it is "bad" if you do not. I do however where nike shoes. :)

It depends on type of clothes. Jeans and long/short sleeve shirts I really don't care much. For heavyier sweatshirts and fleece it's usually Old Navy. For polo shirts I have 2 Honda motorcycle polos(got them for free from 2 of my dad's freinds, I guess Honda doesn't know sizeing well as the shirts were orderd buy the 2 people, and both were way too small for them),and I will be getting several Mazda polos once my dad finds a place to order them from and if he can get deals on them. For shoes I don't care, as long as thier comfortable, I'm happy. I don't need $100 Nike shoes that wear out in 3 months. I'm currently wearing shoes that don't even have a name on them, but I've been useing them for 8 months(since a little before school year started) and they are still going with no exessive wear.

that's about it, to sum it up, I really don't care what brand it is unless I'm getting something that a company is known for, or something that I like...

Usually all I wear is Old Navy, but occasionally I stop by AE, A&F, Gap, or 'Nana Republic to pick up a few items...:)

I buy name bran clothes if it looks good. Some times i buy non name bran clothes too but it all depends how it looks on me.

I don't really care about brands. I don't think their clothes are any better made, it's all about the labelling. I have bought trendy brands in the past, but why pay £35 for a shirt that lasts six months, but has a trendy name on it, when you can pay £20 for a shirt that has no name but lasts three years?

I hate clothes, anyway, so I'm not the best person to ask.

Now, electronics there's a different kettle of fish!

I buy brand cloths but the brand cloths I buy are mosher brands, like Spase which make quality skate trousers...dont like Adidas and the rest...

Right now, I'm wearing Trainers with my initials on them. (Totally coincidental, I found them whilst on holiday).

Well, depends... problem is, my school has a uniform policy, which means no logos allowed. So, at school it's just plain ol' t-shirts...

Outside of school, I usually wear Old Navy... Also Nike, and many of my pants are made from BUM. However, I'm definetly not big on name brands... for example, i really could care less about the skating t-shirts... they're actually starting to get on my nerves.

I'll buy them if they're reasonable value. We're a bit lucky here, there's a couple of good discount stores around so you can buy a decent shirt, shorts or pants without feeling you've left a pint of blood behind.

The only brand name I insist on is Asics running shoes - because although they're exxy they're the only running shoes I don't get knee pain with.

well with coats and jackets i just get what i like (leather and/or flashy) and for jeans i shop around and get whatever fits and looks good... no exceptions. right now im wearing black marks work wearhouse jeans and they fit good and look good (been wearing the same 2 pairs for a month or so) but with pants i always wear like 2 pairs for a few months (wear one pair while i wash the other). with shirts i just wear normal shirts... blank t shirts and golf shirts. shoes are a completely different story... i have to get adidas shoes. i insist on getting name brand shoes because they DO last longer in my experience... and they're like transportation to me... i have to wear them everyday and im getting good ones. i have to get adidas because they have good arch support and they fit my foor well.. i have a wide foot but a more narrow heel and thats now adidas are made, i cant wear nikes because they're too narrow and they suck anyway.

i just got a nice new pair of adidas friday night and they're sweet ass sweet. they fit perfectly and are comfortable as hell. they replaced my old adidas which i still like, and i would buy again but they dont have them anymore... they're completely bald on the bottom and they're loose too... time for replacements. the new shoes are flashier, they're silver, and my old ones are black and white... i dont think the new ones look as good. but they'll have to do.

i think i might start wearing more name brand clothes... maybe get some nice tommy hilfiger golf shirts and shit but i dont want to spend too much money on clothes.

edit: eww dont put those there! wouldnt want the kiddies seeing "bad words". bad words? how can a word be bad? you're crazy.

i usually like to wear Tommy Hilfiger, Old Navy, Nike, Adidas, Fubu, Reebok, Lucky. And i pretty much only wear Basketball shoes like Iversons or Kobes

Kobe Bryant shoes? Those are almost as ugly as those red Fila Ferrari shoes.

..::EDIT::.. I suck. I spelled Ferrari incorrectly.

exactly. and the nikes ive owned dont fit right and wear out too easily, which sucks, which makes them suck.

I buy what I like, who cares what brand: If the article of clothing is $10, and they fit, look right to me, and made of some sort of quality material, I could care less who made them.

I have to admit, shoes are one item where a name brand does help, but I can't stand paying a minimum of $60 for: $1 worth of material, $29 dollars worth of advertising, and $30 for an athlete's salary/child support/new car fund. That said, I look for the best shoes at the cheapest possible price. I refuse to pay more than 30 for shoes. Period. Somebody has to put their foot down.

"Name brands" come and go...next year, it's old news, and some new name comes into the fray.

If I didn't have a girlfriend, I have a feeling I would do most of my shopping at the Salvation Army and second hand consignment shops. I really don't care what I'm wearing too much. I had this great jacket in high school that I wore all the time. Very 70's.

I can't wear it any more. I keep it in the closet for when I break up with my girlfriend.

As it is now, I just try to make sure I look nice enough to keep up to her standards. To hell with brands. The last time I bought a shirt with a brand accross the front, it said "Dragon Ball Z"

Nexus Maelstrom

I am wearing right now some $130 nike shoes. It really doesnt matter what the price is of the shoes I am wearing. The more expensive does not mean anything. The ones I am wearing have lasted just fine. Maybe some of you just bought defected shoes.

Also...Fubu? I wish Fubu would go out of business. They suck. No offense to any black members here at GTP but where I live only black people ware Fubu. Anyway...all of their clothes are ugly and way overpriced. Fubu sucks. Period.
