3DS MAX is a $1,000+ 3D rendering suite that creates complicated 3D models and renders them with effects so, that they can be used for art, games, and big screen movies. 3DS MAX is also very easy to learn, compared to all of the features that are in it. That is why it is so popular.

I have 3DS Max 4.2, it's fairly easy to learn. I mean, I worked out how to create polygon wireframes, add an environment and some other stuff in about 3 hours. I uninstalled it though as I had hardly ever used it. Plus, I don't think my computer is fast enough for it. Everything got mixed up and it really bogged down my computer. What I mean by got mixed up is that the Perspective view would appear in the Top view section and there would be bits of polygon wireframe from the Side, Top and Left views in the Perspective box and it was really hard to work with.

What are your system specs? - So I can get a slight idea of how it will run on mine.

That's all you need to know right?
I can run it alright, it is just that all the views and stuff get mixed up and it is hard to work with.Originally posted by jubula
