Hmmm...
1. A LandCruiser LC60 in immaculate condition. That is to say, concours-condition... all chrome badges immaculately polished, beige (!) paint flawless, beautiful stance... being driven on the road.
-It's hot because nobody... and I mean
nobody ever bothers to dress up or restore an LC60 anymore... they all go for the iconic FJ40 or up to the more modern LC70 or popular LC80. The 60 is the LandCruiser that time forgot.
No... it was better than this one... but my companion with the camera was sooooooo slow.... grrrrrr....
2. Ford Escort Mexico Wagon - a three door wagon. I guess Escorts are a common sight on UK roads, but here, finding one that hasn't rusted to oblivion is a chore.
Someday, he
will sell that thing to me... muwahahahaha!!!
3. Ford Focus TDCi (modified) - complete with ricey quad exhausts... okay... so maybe it's a little overdone... but trying to drag-launch a car with so much torque without having the ECU shut down everything to protect the drive-axles is an invigorating challenge...
It's the one at the end... my pics of the event aren't uploaded yet... I love Focii!
I still love my car... but after doing a port and polish, camshafts, cam-gears, a full exhaust and chip-tuning... to only have about 170-180 bhp versus the faintly ridiculous 200 plus horsepower of a diesel with bolt-ons... not to mention over 300 foot-pounds of torque on alcohol spray... I give up...

Okay, color me strange... I have seen an R35, an R8 and some other junk in the last month, but you can see these things
anywhere... (anywhere there are people rich enough to afford them)... a proper enthusiast's car, on the other hand, is the work of a lot of love and time... (and sometimes money, too)... and is more special, IMHO, than something merely bought off the shelf.
