Names on replays of online races

Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere. I have tried searching.

I noticed since a day or two after the update that my replays of online races no longer have the user names above each car. I seem to remember seeing it working although am doubting myself now. This was supposed to be a new feature in gt5 v2.08. Anyone else had the same problem. My replays are from races saved before and after the update.
 
Wait, what? How did you save the replay of an online race? I've been trying to figure out how to do that for a while now...

Once back in the lobby after a race, wait a short while then press the results icon (bottom left of centre) in the lobby screen and press the save icon at the bottom of the result once it shows
 
Click on the podium next to join track, it should be easy enough to work out after that.

Edit: Oh damn, too late.

That new feature is for viewing other people racing live from the lobby (Watch Race) and does not apply to replays.

ID’s are now shown above cars when watching online races

I can confirm this feature is new in 2.08 and functional.

Thanks for clearing that up. At least more than one of us learned something new today.

It makes really good sense when watching live. Would be nice to be able to turn it off and on in replays too but it's not a big deal.
