Nascar ABS 1 now...WTF

im on my second play through & i cant put ABS 0 on Nascar...WTF PD.... they are really beginning to piss me off with all these limits... some events Skid recovery must be on & ect...let me play the game i want to with the settings i want to play with- end rant
 
I had mentioned this last week I believe. The final challenges are a lot harder with ABS on (although they are doable).
 
That's a joke right?

I did the Nascar Challenge with ABS set to 1 (because I didn't know about the ABS-off thing..) and it took me over 4 hours to get ONE of those 3 on Gold.
It was horrible !!!

I was just thinking about re-doing the challenges (except Vettel) and drivers licenses because of the lack of fun things to do in A-spec, and now I read this.

I seriously hope you're joking..
 
ABS controls your speed in this game.. its not ABS as you would have in a car... ABS is a car doesnt slow you down it help you while stopping
 
good it's not just me, on my second play through and found this last night. I really want what ever drugs the PD staff is taking.

they messed this game up... Need for speed Shift 2 looks very good... this game has became a joke... standard cars... graphics in the rain & smoke... so may things...

ABS=1 laptime?
ABS=0 laptime?

if ABS @0 is faster than ABS @1, AND never touch brakes, I quit this game.

ABS = AntiLockBrakes, correct?

Your correct, PD lives in some alternative universe where snozberries taste like liver.

It's not about the ABS, it's about the ASM which is always on and the only way to turn it off is to turn of the ABS.

which in turn makes it an ABS problem, which makes no sense to anyone outside PD's little world.
 
I'm sooooooooooooooooooo happy I already did the Nascar thing where you have to drive 10 laps behind the field and then get to 1st place.

Imagine doing that one with ABS on.
Drive 10 laps and become 4th...
Drive 10 laps become 7th..
Drive 10 laps become 6th..
Drive 10 laps etc etc

Time and time again having to drive those 9 'useless' laps , only to be UNABLE to pass the #1 car because your own car brakes in mid corner.


The horror !🤬

it brakes by itself... its BS
 
deleting patch... then beating the nascar & license B-5..Gold... it will take less time to install & beat then it will will V 1.07

This was in the Special events, i didn't check out the NASCAR event in A-Spec.
 
I got bronze on the first two events after the update. Still can't get the Daytona one though, I can't catch up with the car in 9th, and it just speeds away from me.
