I think its about times both championship adopt a uniform team livery/colors and I say this because these these championship seem more and more like billboards.

Anybody agree?

Exactly, they need sponsors, which is why a universal look is wrong. Drivers have their own sponsors and bring in their own revenue.

Could you name 1 major series that hasn't become a bunch of rolling billboards?

Plus, the only series that uses the universal paint scheme rule is F1 and that's not exactly attracting the high dollar deals it once did. I really wouldn't be shocked if they moved away from it in the next decade or so.

I find it hard to agree with something I don't understand. Are you suggesting that NASCAR and IndyCar have a set of sponsors that must be represented at each and every race, like Pirelli, UBS and DHL in F1?

I don't unfortunately.

Basically, he wants all the teams to have a universal livery for that team as opposed to how its currently set up now (FOr instance, the #18 M&M's Toyota and #20 Dollar General Toyota, both of JGR)

Red Bull's Ill-Fated NASCAR team tried a uniform livery for both cars in its first year and got complaints from the other drivers, the teams own "Spotters" that couldn't easily distinguish between which car they they were working with and NASCAR itself over it... So no, I think that multiple-sponsored cars with distinct colors are here to stay.

The best compromise might come from Team Penske's 4-car Indycar program, which all have different sponsors/colors but share a common livery design between them...

If it is not broken, don't fix it... there is nothing wrong with the system NASCAR and Indycar use right now, I personally like it, as it makes it easier to distinguish drivers when at the races and when watching on TV.

Customer teams around the world are either (as some people call them) "billboards" or team colors...and in America the ONLY factory team's are RLL with their BMW's and Corvette Racing, and Ganassi's Ford effort (both in TUSCC).

You're forgetting Mazda and Porsche in TUSCC as well as Cadillac, Bentley, Nissan, Kia and Acura in the PWC.

...which is terrible because I watch those two series a lot... :scared: ...MEDIC!

With that, America isn't that different from Europe (in that sense).
