With those car limits, do you ever even have spots open in that series? Seems to be based out of country, with the time zones and flags I'm seeing, ever run into issues with connectivity etc?

The Sprint Cup series is based in the US, from the east coast (NC, the home of NASCAR). I'm the league host, and I provide a very stable connection.

We run an early evening race on Saturdays, which allows drivers from Europe to join late at night, and drivers from the west coast of the US/Canada to join in their early afternoon. It really is the best of both worlds. Our league is highly competitive, and I would say probably offers some of the absolute closest racing anywhere on GTP.

Yeah, I've noticed the world of open lobby, is vastly different than those that run exclusively in leagues.
 
If anyone wants to join my private lounge add my psn and we can do some tuning.I already gave a tip about ballast try it.

Nice! I've been considering upgrading to something stupid fast like that, but haven't had any issues with our races lagging yet at my current connection speeds.

Oddly enough, you did actually stumble into one of our league races back in season one. The league was still quite small, so we held races in open lobbies, and tried to get random joiners that showed up to stay in and race with us. As luck would have it, this was one of the races that Niop didn't make it to in Season 1.

Looks like Joe still had his old router and disconnected from this race while leading (he did that a lot in S1). :lol:
 
Johnnyspeed, Please check post #1. Adrenaline is doing a great job of monitoring this topic and he updates his original post when a new setup is posted/shared.

Noip, With your setup I was able to get under 29 seconds tonight. The car is very loose in the rear which takes a few laps to get used to. Thank you for sharing :).

I remember joining one of your open lobbies last summer also. You were running like 10 lap races or something. I won 4 out 5 races before being kicked. I pm'd you and asked why and your reply was along the lines of take your glitched car somewhere else and cheat. I did not lag once nor did I cheat in any way. Pretty immature way of handling losing. Surely hope you have a better way of dealing with defeat these days. Both MUDD and crazybassist have tried to get me to join your league but I always have second thoughts because of that incident.

I don't know who you're thinking about, but that's definitely not me. If you came in and won 100 straight, I wouldn't care, especially in random open lobby races. I'm there for fun.

If you were kicked out of my room by me, it's only because you would have been causing wrecks in a clean room, nothing more and nothing less.

I honestly don't remember your name, so I'm wondering if you're not thinking about someone else.

If you're ever interested in joining any of our GTP NASCAR leagues, please feel free to come try it out. I promise you that you aren't going to experience anything similar to what you've just described. I think any of the 56 guys that have ever driven in our Sprint Cup league races would tell you that.

I'll second that he would never do that. It is always about fun and clean hard racing in his public rooms. With super quick turnarounds as well.
 
@ Ryan: I am 100% it was either you or ACDCROCKS that was hosting the room. You both were there, one of you were hosting, I do know that for a fact. My apologies if it wasn't you. I was also later told that if you or one of your friends don't win, you kick the outsiders. Thats just what I was told. You can ask MUDD, crazybassist, or even killerjimbag about me. I am one of the cleanest drivers around. I also used to run with the USS team and some of the RIP team if you know any of them.
 
It wasn't me. I can't promise that it wasn't ACDC. :lol:

I was just playing with it and thought I'd share my set up:

Note: This is a tire wear setup. It will not be the fastest car in the field but you can make it 10 laps, rather then the common 7 or the rare 8. I ran in the 30 second range at the start but I'm on a controller and that seems to take 1.5 seconds off other setups alone so a wheel can probably do better. The fall off isn't bad for the first 7-8 laps, 1 second or less, then for 2 laps it was in the 32's then lap 10 was a 33. Lap 11 can be squeezed out of it no problem but it fell off another 1.5 seconds. I'm not sure what everyones strategy is bit I a 10 or 11 laps this setup is far better for overall time then what is given up in the pits. I think it will be faster once it's tweaked bait but this is where I'm starting.

hello, all setups are posted with soft tires (apparently)
Here's my race tires for medium, I managed 15 laps and 11 laps on soft tires (racing long duration + or - 150 laps)

905? What car are you using?
Talked to a friend from Belgium they use metric we use standard,so yes it is 905 which converts to 892 in the US and Canada.I was in a room with him last night and all his cars are 10 HP more.
