PD will put it al really well together, but indeed i'm really intrested by the fact of a flag system and rolling starts.
and how let us control the car, and if qualification will be back or not.

PD has never done much to replicate race rules, but they didn't have official licenses before. I don't see safety cars and drafting as more important to NASCAR than anything else. Hopefully, everything will have these features.

Yamauchi said they want to implement as many NASCAR rules as possible.

Great!

I wonder if pit driving will be automated or not. If you speed they can penalize you badly.

What about driver character too? I only watch NASCAR here in the UK now and then but some drivers are agressive others are more happy to plod along, be great if each driver AI was unique.

I have to say, while it would be an improvement as to make it more into a simulation (which I normally would support enthusiastically), personally, I detest the idea of the safety car and how it ruins a race. It might have become necessary in this day and age where safety has replaced the recklessness of yesteryear, but imagine driving a perfect race, getting 20 seconds in the lead and then 2 AI cars crash and you're robbed of your lead. Never will that much swearing have been heard before.

So, bearing in mind, this is a game and noone needs to be saved from a crashed vehicle, please just let the cars race to the checkered flag without boring us to death behind the safety car and ruining a good race in the process.

Now imagine the same scenario except for 2 AI cars crashing it is a race official calling the sandwich baggy laying next to the track as "debris" and throwing the yellow... that is realistic

NASCAR is great!

If Sam Hornish is in the NASCAR portion of GT5, there better be yellow flags
5 laps and he spun twice!
