Nascar School Intermediate Tests

Hey everyone,

I've a reader of these forums for a while now but this is my first post. I'm having terrible trouble getting golds on the Jeff Gordon Nascar School Intermediate tests. I have all golds on the beginner and advanced tests, but I really want to complete the whole thing so I can win a Nascar to save me buying one! I have all assists turned off, and I am using a controller.

Any help will be appreciated!

The intermediate levels are extremely easy with a wheel. It's probably time for you to invest in one

There a bitch, just stick to the inside and steer as smooth as possible. I was at 0.003 seconds over the time for a long time.

I know you say you have all assists off but make sure your ABS is not still on level 1 otherwise the ASM will hold you back and in most Nascar events managing the ASM is disabled.

Thanks for the replies guys, I do have ASM turned off but I can't seem to steer smoothly enough. Maybe I will have to get a wheel, this is getting extremely irritating!

Have you tried pushing the stick upwards and rolling it in the direction you want?
It gives you much more control over the steering in total.

Thanks so much for that tip, I used it and after several tries I managed to gold all the intermediate tests! I have now got my Nascar, and a Dodge Viper GTS for the modern muscle ticket. I can now attempt the Nascar championship, there better not be any cones in it!

Here's another tip to beat NASCAR challenge. It was posted in the wrong forum and in a sort of different thread but it works. Too bad most wont see it.
