This is absolutely undrivable with a G27. It won't turn at all unless I turn the wheel at least 15 degrees.

EDIT: found the steering settings finally. never mind.

GT5 doesn't require odd adjustments just to make the wheel feel right. It boggles my mind why practically every other game can't simply feel "right" out of the box.

For me personally NTG2011 felt right out of the box as well. Only game together with GT5. I'm using a DFGT.

Anyone with the new game playing with a DFGT?

Update for EU:
Amazon.de looks to be the first one to list it as "in stock". It comes with a price though...

Game costs 72.98 EUR + sending costs. As it's not Amazon but a German import store which does the sending it would cost me an additional 19 EUR to have it shipped to Belgium...

I'll pass for now. Amazon.co.uk have it listed now, but as "currently unavailable". I'll wait and see what their total price will be once they have it.

Hi, I'm a fan of NASCAR and have a PS3.
I cannot afford me iRacing.
I have GT5 which is not too bad to quickly do an online race but I want a complete NASCAR game.
Last year I decided to buy a dedicated NASCAR game and had 2 options:
- NASCAR 09 - But with an online mode shutted down
- NASCAR 2011 The Game

I finally decided to choose NASCAR 09 because more realistic, a nice career mode and 3 categories (trucks, nation-wide and sprint cup).

Now NASCAR The Game Inside Line I wonder if this game has reached NACAR 09 from EA.

What is your opinion on that?

I have a Playstation also, but i have played it on XBOX. I have to say, ith is definateliy more realistic. The cars handle a little better too, but that might just be driver's opinoion.

NTG2011 almost destroyed my wheel. I remember it was burning motors up in people's wheels when it first came out. I played it once or twice and thought it felt really weird and my motors started to smell really hot, so I checked online and others were having the same problems. It was trying to pull in both directions or something with the FF. That was the end of that game for me. I never did try it again.

I love the game, its a big step up from NTG 2011. I have had many great races racing with the a.i. And only have a few little complaints but nothing huge. I like this game better then 09, but nothing beats NASCAR Dirt To Daytona

For the ones who played NASCAR 09, can you tell me in which area is NTGIL better?
E.g. AI, graphics, more realistic (better simulation), dammage, pits, race flags, career mode, setup, ...

What do you guys think of this game? I am planning to buy a NASCAR game for the PS3. I was thinking of getting NTG 2011 but judging by the comments in here, it seems horrible. Also, does it have a tutorial mode (kinda like the Young Driver Test in F1 2012) for newcomers of the sport? I could really use all the info on the newer cars. The last NASCAR game I played was NASCAR 2001 by EA on the PS1 :p

Finally went with ordering it straight from the US Amazon.com
Even with shipping cost and Import Fees it's less expensive than ordering through an EU Amazon webshop...
It was 71 EUR in total, but if Import Fees are less than calculated I might get something back. It's just that I really want the game, otherwise I wouldn't have done it.

I really loved NTG2011 (enough bugs, but for me not game-killing as I didn't play it online). It's just tons of fun with a wheel. And with all the fixes and updates they promised on NTGIL I just don't want to miss out on it.

So with it having been out what are people's thoughts?

Well, offline is good but could be better. Like a deeper career mode. Everything else offline os pretty good. Online, well... Not so much. Hopefully they fix the issues soon

Online as bad as ntg11?

is the Practice, Qualifying and race option there for online lobbies as promised?

Also, does this game have the Photo taking feature 2011 had?

It has both of them

Never had any issues with it... Motors are warming up less than with GT5 in my case.

I have beaten all the Hightlights, but the one i cant do is the Tony Stewart one. You have to make your way up to 29th and i have tried for over 2 hours!! I cant do it!! Any tips?

EDIT: Nevermind i got it, it took me a few hours but i finally did it. I just ran into the other cars and they all wrecked  i know i couldnt help it

I am 50/50 on this game. It shows a LOT of promise to be better than Nascar 09. However, there is SO much left to be desired. I am an online only racer. Private rooms ran like iRacing(cautions OFF, calling manual cautions) is the ONLY way to ensure almost glitch free rooms.

I will not sell it right away seeing the promise this game does have. However, if they can't make it any better overall, this will be going on eBay rather quickly..... Thank God I have iRacing so I can actually race.

Have you played Nascar 09? If so, which one is the best simulation?
(I have not received my game yet)

NTG:IL HAS promise, it just is not there yet. However 09 was shut down online Aug 11 2011. And NTG:IL's Offline AI mode is not half bad.

Once a patch gets released, then we will see. I would go with IL due to it having online capabilities. I am just thankful I have iRacing and can actually race.
