Give him benefit of the doubt, not as bad as Dave's. Points penalty to come for one driver. Multiple warnings as well.

I've done the DMZ tutorial you posted, it's the actual line that's the problem. If it gets cold or wet outside, the line gets lots of noise on it, the signal drops and the edges drop, and then thats when I start lagging

Was it you who told me a while back that your internet line was going to get upgraded by your provider? Or was that Dave?

It was Nildram, but a while back they got bought out by TalkTalk (I think). It's the best line we can get in this area, a 2Mb line. Exchange has fibre-optic, but the cabinet doesn't.

How's your connection recently? I remember Spa TOCA 7 where I got lag wrecked twice by you but since then nothing, so I'm guessing Spa was a blip, no?

Then its a BT line if its Talk Talk. Sounds like water is getting in the box on your house or at the pole box.
 
Need to wait on someone doing laps led / leaders / cautions before publishing.

nothing our end, but the line is 5.6 KM long, main reason why it picks up so much noise

it's fine usually but sometimes it goes terrible for a few days then goes back to normal.
