Crap, I haven't got any practice in. I'm not so good with gear ratios so don't be surprised if my qualifying attempt ends up like my Daytona qualifying run! :scared:

yes, but if you don't have a good transmission you'll just be sitting in the back while everyone is drafting XD

Qualifying is run solo with draft off. Also don't forget it's two duel events.

I get a warning for bumping a slower car mid turn that chose to take a horrible entry even though on the lap before, Spurgy was bumping Carb in turn 3 and 4 very similarly to what I did to get me a warning, and nearly took Carb out (lap 83). Makes sense if I don't think about it I guess...

Allow me to post something else that I sent in my PM's with Furi, which definitely applies here:

Keep in mind I have no context for how the rest of this race was run. All I have to judge this on is what I just saw from the final lap, and nothing else. If they raced each other this hard the rest of the race, then you might view all of this differently than I did. Also, there might be some underlying tension between some of them from prior events that I have no knowledge of. This is where you need to take it all in and put together a full opinion on the incidents, react, and move forward.

And not saying that the Akmuq penalty is unfair, but I doubt Spurgy would have won with all the momentum I had coming in to push Akmuq :)

I looked at the incidents without knowing who was who, so that I could look at it with a completely blank slate. I didn't know who was in which truck, or what the team affiliations were for my first review. I looked at the replay and based my opinions on what would be fair if all four trucks were trying to race to win, not to push a teammate.

Open lobby (not person's lounge)

Regulation:
-650hp
-1710kg
-racing hard
-only ABS enabled


Event:
-normal race
-2 laps
-rolling start
-fastest first
-no boost
-no penalty
-visual damage off
-mechanical damage light
-disable collissions On
-splitstream weak
-normal fuel/tires consump.
-real grip reduction

Anything else?

All correct, and take sector 1 time away from the final time to get your Q time.
