Nascar vs. F1

NASCAR is what would happen if pro-wrestling was a racing series.

I'm guessing, if we had a popular vote, F1 would be preferred by miles.

However, this all comes down to two things; licensing and time as others have said.

Personally I think PD should focus on getting new licensing deals and building up a repretoire for the next game, so we aren't stuck with reheated goods the way we remember them.

And you are just the type of person I'm talking about. That was a pretty idiotic statement you made. You apparently know nothing about the sport and just because its not your cup of tea, you throw around immature and factless statements like that. I could argue with you forever about which series is more popular but I won't because its pointless as each one has its dedicated following and I respect all forms of motorsports racing, NASCAR just happens to be my favorite.
 
IF PD were to add more nascars it should be those for next year the 2013 ones that will look like their street counter parts. I believe that we'll see them later in the year. EDIT: In nascar that is not later in the year on the game.

I actually like and follow NASCAR, but globally you'll find F1 has a bigger following.
And lets be honest, because of the attitudes of drivers and officials in the series, and the ways in which it is covered, the drama is part of the show.

I do understand the physics, and the talent it took for your favorite driver to win the Bud Shootout for example, that was nothing short of freaky.
But, I also understand he has a big attitude at times, and is gaining a reputation similiar to his brother.

So, the arguement is valid.

Now for the topic; PD would gain so much more in the US market by implementing more NASCAR cars and tracks, it'll be interesting to see if they still follow their trend of giving us cars into this year.

You can't be serious. I don't recall a single thing I've said being crap, as you say. If you can justify this statement by evil: "NASCAR is what would happen if pro-wrestling was a racing series" as not being crap as well as other negative statements other people have made about NASCAR, then I think you are the one that has the issue, not me. I was merely having a conversation with the guy. (evil) No need for you to come in here acting like a referee. Its not needed. I can see by your avatar that you are a Harvick fan and thats cool. We both know Harvick's and Busch's past history and dislike for each other, no need to play that out here by taking a shot at me.

Why do people pick up the characteristics of the drivers they like? I don't understand...

These 2 separately categorized cars of different walks are not utterly comparable in terms of design of the body, distribution of relative gravity inside the vehicle and to what purpose those machines are principally manufacturered, the 2 should respectively have good appreciable points and bad points coming from unfitness in certain fields of testing(The nascar cars are fast on oval tracks but yield to other boxed cars at winding sections of a track, F1s are really fast at most of the tracks but not as nimble as Le mans on a stretch)...

But, if these 2 classes are to be mixed to emulate each other in a contest, I bet the F1s will win against the Nascars by far a great margin. :sly:
