nba finals '04 predictions?

even though i'm a hard core rocket's fan i think that the nets will take the kings in six in this year's finals. i'm saying this even though the lakers are super loaded with talent, but look at my rockets with dream, glyde, and sir chuck. didn't work then because the jazz didn't have more talent, just more chemistry and desire. so who do you think will win it all?
 
Celtics will beat the Spurs in seven games on a Paul Pierce half court three pointer. The score will be 87-86. The game will be in Boston, and the fans will rush the court and suffocate all the players.

But seriously, I think the Spurs will play the Celtics. There isn't a single good team in the East so just about any team has a shot to make the finals. In the West, the Spurs and the Lakers have teh best shot to make it. Even if Kobe misses most of the season.
 
You're comparing them to the Cavs? The Bulls? They made it to the Eastern Conference semi-finals last year without a point guard, a center, and the worst player ever - Antoine Walker.
 
I'm getting concerned with the Lakers, because Shaq looked a little miffed about discussing the Kobe situation this weekend.
Some of the players on the team might get a little rattled with the questions they will get for the better part of the season.

Well looking at the Eastern conference I still like the chances of the Nets. Their team did get to the Finals last year, and cleaned up the other teams. All they did is get better with the addition of Zo.
I really do think that this year will be one of the best the NBA has ever given us.
 
hhhrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........i gotta say lakers in the west and in the east? duz it really matter? the whole eastern conference sux anyways. The only chances are new jersey and clevland this year. You should be askin "whos gonna win the western conference?" because in reality, whoever wins the west, wins it all. Lakers or Sacremento, kids.
 
wait a minute.....orlando and philly MIGHT have a chance to get to the finals, but i still think the same of the eastern conference
 
I'd say 76ers against the Lakers.
The east coast doesn't have much to offer and with their new additions I reckon the Lakers will win it
