I'm on EA boycott, due to their strategy of forcing their competitors out of market. If I remember correctly, EGM picked 2K series over the EA's Live. My friend who has both says he liked the 2K better, also. Personally, I haven't played a basketball game since 2K5.

The question is NBA Live 2006 or NBA 2K6. Both are $49.99 this year. If I were to buy one - which would it be?

If 2K6 was actually $19.99 - it would be a no contest but they raised the price.
