Thanks Pako!

The only 2 things I want to know are:

  1. Does it have 1:1 pixel mapping? (black bars at the top and bottom of the monitor if you play GT5p in 1080p)
  2. what panel is it? TN, MVA, S-pva etc...

At a 1920x1200 I doubt it's 1:1. I would assume it would have to have a native resolution of 1920x1080, but I will say it looks great with 1080p content, with no black bars. I use it for a computer monitor, but I also had my PS3 hooked up to before I got my 1080p TV and it looked great. For audio, I ran HDMI into the Monitor from the PS3 which carried the audio signal as well. The monitor has a 1/8" output plug that I ran analog to the computer "music in" jack. I ran it this way because this was basically my secondary setup for the PS3 as I had the optical output of the PS3 in use in a different area.

Complaints on this monitor I have is switching from the VGA to HDMI is a bit of menu navigation. To simplify this, I bought a little HDMI splitter for around $40, that allowed me to plug in my PS3 and Computer into the box, and from the box to the monitor. This way I could easily switch from one source to the other by just pressing a button on the switch box.

Other than that it's been a great monitor. I can see where it may be limited for inputs if you were to use it for a TV monitor, but this is primarily a computer monitor for me, but with the added bonus of HDMI, I could use it as a person PS3 monitor as well.

Hope that helps.
