Should be fine on the PSU. Adding a second card down the road will probably mean upgrading your PSU, but yes, for this build you should be good to go! Edit: Nevermind, the mobo doesn't support SLI anyways, so no worries.

Looks like a solid video card. Glad you were able to raise your budget a bit, it will really get you into the market for some fun PC gaming for sure! And for that price, it had better exceed consoles, even next gen right? ;)

Micro huh? Make sure the video card isn't too long....

After looking at the case on Newegg I don't think the case is going to be big enough for the video card. The case is 16.5 inches long and the card is 9.5 inches long. The problem is the HDD section of the case takes up a third of the interior space. It will be a very tight fit.

OK I'll have a look for something else.

Edit: How about the Zalman Z5 Plus?

The Zalman you picked looks good. Its 19.5 inches long and the middle section is open from front to back. Plenty of room.👍
This is a better case though.

Only £2 more.

Thanks but the Zalman apparently has better cooling, but it also has 3 instead of 2 USB ports which will be useful. Also, some cases have 'internal' in brackets after mentioning a USB 3.0 port. What does this mean?

3ds is getting sold tomorrow morning. Feel a bit sad, and I kind of wanted to play the new pokemon game, but I don't want to wait any longer for a pc. I barely use it anyway, but I'm gonna regret it :(

Parts are ordered, although the dvd drive was ordered from amazon instead of from aria, even though aria was selected... Might be a glitch causing it to change the selected seller?

Just saying the PC was built about a week ago, I will post pics after buying a new monitor (this week probably). Looking at either a 21.5 inch or 23 inch at 1920x1080, then I can finally enjoy it properly. My monitor currently has very noticeable flickering when playing darker games like Splinter Cell Blacklist, so I gotta get a new one. Can't wait! :P Also, got a free Diablo 3 mousemat with my GPU, a nice surprise :D By the way, is there any way to compare a 21.5 inch display and a 23 inch display? I can't find any pics.

Wow, that GTX 670 really was an incredible bargain!

If it weren't that cheap I'd say definitely a 7950 or a GTX 760. But only £228 for a GTX 670? Damn son...

Yeah and the MSI one was even cheaper than that... the thing is I think ASUS makes a load of GTX670s, and they have a much smaller one. So I guess they sell it for cheaper as it takes up a load of room. Wish I took a pic of it though, it was downright awesome

Your planned rig looks pretty damn good now, I can't wait to follow the build progress!! 👍👍 :)

That is quite expensive for a GTX 670, they have been as low as £161.60, generally around £170 mark now.

What progress? I already finished it...
And I just looked on scan and some of the GTX670s were very cheap, although the Asus I bought has been very reliable. Too bad I can't use two of them, but I'm getting 60fps with very large player counts and maps on BF3, although that might change by maybe 5 frames when I get a new monitor. I'm thinking to use my crappy one in a dual monitor setup so I can do other stuff with games running without them crashing (like Mirrors Edge).

I think a GTX 670 can pretty much handle any game easily at 1080p, especially when overclocked. Even Crysis 3 should give you some solid framerates on very high if you keep the AA to 2x or off.

I thought you would take some W.I.P photos during the build, but oh well.. Anyway, enjoy Full HD gaming after you get your new screen, mate! :)

I kinda wish I did take some pics of the more exciting parts, but I can see through a small window in the side of the case (although it's got static and dust on it). Next thing I'll buy will be an SSD to store windows and stuff I use a lot on.

Pics with a GTP Sign and your name on it or it didn't happen. ;)

Anxious to see your wire management. 👍

Let's just say that zip-ties are so inexpensive they are practically free. :D With that said, and on a more serious note, properly routed wires that are tucked out of the way will help promote better air flow in the case. So.......it's not just to look good, it also provides a functional purpose in keeping all those wires tidy and out of the way.

When does your monitor get in so we can see some build pics?

Yeah we used zip ties, it wasn't the best management but it's safe at least. I got my monitor today, will take some pics soonish.
