Hey guys, I really don't want to or have time to buy all of the cars needed for these races, is there any way I can trade something just to borrow them for a race or will someone maybe let me borrow them for free? I have no interest in stealing, just don't want to have to buy these cars for 1 time use.

Events I need to borrow a car for:

aspec, expert, historic

aspec, expert, gallardo

aspec, extreme, nascar

aspec, extreme, dtm

aspec, extreme, super gt

aspec, extreme, formula gt

Let me know if you are willing to share a car and we can work something out. Thanks.

there is no borrowing good sir...atleast from me, lol...who do figure people are going to "lend" you there 500,000$ Supercar and you run the oil out of it and plow into a bunch of walls and getting it back with 100k worth of damage to fix...?, you can't give credits away... (albeit this is a hypothetical but valid none the less)

I didn't think blowing into walls mattered, but you have a point I would have a hard time lending a FGT

The damage you speak of does not exsist. Stop repeating the same old myths, please.

Yes it does.
The more times you hit a wall, the less strength your chassity will have.
thats why you have to pay for a Chassity ridgity, to strengthen the Chassis again

********. As soon as you take a car out -- independent of if you hit anything -- the bill becomes half of the price of the car (for most cars). Read up, or try it.

Are you kidding me? Do I have to quote the first post in that thread?

The mystery has been solved:

Ok, after some study I found this:

1 - The amount of driving or damage does not affect the amount of money to be paid. As soon as you have driven a car you have the option to refresh the rigidity and it will be for a fixed price.
2 - The rigidity fix of all cars bought at the dealerships will cost half the price of the car (Volvo C30, price: 42k, fix: 21k; M3 coupe, price: 92k, fix: 46k
3 - All chromeline cars can be fixed for 500 credits, probably a friendly gesture to all who bought special editions.
4 - There is no indication yet about whether or not (or at which point) the lack of body rigidity will become an issue. But you probably don't have to refresh before you've driven a few k of miles.
5 - I'm not yet sure what the price is for second hand cars, but I'm sure that's related to the price of the car aswell.

edit: I don't know how people came to think it was related to damage. I haven't found any indication of this as of yet.
So basically it seems like it's not related to damage at all. It's like a "restore car to brand new condition" option. Nobody has reported any corresponding performance change, and it IS half the original price of the vehicle. Case closed?

Damage is maxed at 500,000 credits for many cars above 2M credits. Not sure about Formula 1 cars though.
