I really hope the there is more than what was in the beta. I know there will be DLC but more than 50 cars would be nice.

Great cars are missing like the 350Z, 370Z, Charger, 300 etc.

BMW M2 is soon to be revealed

It has been revealed:

Unless you mean in-game :sly:

Sweet car but I'm more impressed by those ducktail wings on the E46 (which appears to have a CSL kit), E92 and F82

I believe the E36 has ever only been on two NFS games which was Shift 1 & 2, so it isn't a surprise they didn't add it.

What about no limits? How many previous NFS games have had the e30? Every single M3 is in the game except the E36 and the E36 is probably the most common of them all in the tuner scene. I would be amazed if it doesn't show up at all.

E30 has been in 4 previous NFS games also it is one of BMW's greatest icons. It looks like all the cars have been set so you are going to be amazed indeed.

Well they have both been in previous games and the E36 is much more of an icon than the e46 or the e92 so there's no reason not to add it. Like I said earlier they will probably release it as DLC if it doesn't come with the base game.

I will contest the fact a E36 is more an icon than the E46, the E36 has no heritage compared to the E46 and test reviews said it was a let down by the M division. EA has released there will be no paid DLC, so maybe fingers cross but I wouldn't mind if the E36 isn't in the game.

...No heritage? You must be joking  The E36 is where the straight 6 was first used and is a touring car legend. They were raced all over the world in the DTM, BTCC, Australian touring cars etc. The E46 was no doubt faster but if you google a bit harder you will also find that it was less fun to drive and lacked the same character as the e36 and e30. Not to mention the horrible SMG transmission that most of the e46's are equipped with which are horribly unreliable and difficult to use.

As for the DLC if you really believe there won't be any paid DLC you are kidding yourself.

There was never a E36 in DTM. BMW only returned to DTM in 2012 after a 20 year absence with Jonny Cecotto finishing 4th in the 1992 season with the E30, if you are going to state something at least make it non fiction. In terms of Motorsport history.....So let's talk about the E46 GTR which won 1-2 in 2004 and 2005 of the 24 hours of the Nurburgring, won its class in 2001 at the American Le Mans series and winning a couple of VLN races and nearly winning the Spa 24 hour.

E46 lacked the same character as the E36? Really?!? The E46 has perfect 50:50 weight distribution, it redlined up to 8,000 compared to 7,000 of the E36, it hit the dead 5 second mark for the 0-60 and the 2006 SMG won favourite sports car of all time by Road and Track magazine in 2009. And don't get me started on the CSL.

So I would been more happier if the E46 was included instead of the E36 but we have to wait.

Edit: The E36 used in BTCC was not an M3 but a 318i.

@lxmmy Ok forget the DTM but the e36 was still used a lot more around the world as a touring car than the e46. I love the e46 as well I just don't get why they would leave out the e36 when it's a super popular car for modifying just like the other m3's.

To be honest, they are both great cars and I would love to have the E36 to be added in but as long we get more other cars as well.

So, I didn't saw some great cars from Carbon/Most Wanted games.

Here are some examples:

Camaro SS 1967
latest

Dodge Charger R/T 1969
latest

Ford GT
latest

Shelby GT500 1967
latest

And the Audi R8 (this was the NFS Carbon final boss car)
latest

I just hope that some of these cars come by DLC or some kind of expansion pack (hopefully for free).

^yeah the game is lacking quite a bit on classic muscle. EA says the game is about car culture and customization, well people were modding muscle cars before the GTRs, Supras, and Evos ever went into production and muscle cars are still a big part of the aftermarket, with custom carbon fiber parts being made by companies like Anvil, suspension kits by Heidts and Hotchkis, not to mention LS swaps, etc. Not hating on imports at all, but I hope Ghost recognizes American muscle is still a big part of car culture and we get more classic muscle in the game, even if it's added later on.
