The Toyotas in Horizon 4 are not part of the Toyota License.Basically Payback and 2015's list with a good number of additions. Looking forward to the testarosa and countach, but like others have said a few more muscle and work-a-day classics like a couple of elder corvettes (C1 - C4), 80's Camaro and the fabled escorts would be nice. Saying that what we've got is still excellent.
The exclusivity derives from toyota getting their undies in a twist about boy racing and toyotas want of a more precious, high handed image. GT is seen as the more sedate and sensible driving game while nfs is taken to be rebelious and wreckless, not what toyota wants to promote. It's a very strange turn tbh as for long enough they were happy to be seen as part of the youth, underground scene with the supra being a rival to the skyline. Toyota now want to get down with the woke soy boys (and girls) with their prius'. They are effectively grand fathering the Supra into a more to-do cruiser than the sports gt it once was imo.
@mustafur They've allowed some of their cars into Forza 7 although most are nascars and off roaders
