I rented this game last week, and have just started playing it in the last couple of days. I think it's great, and I'm still waiting for someone else with a 360 to get online with. I'll probably buy it soon. For anyone who is playing this game, I have a couple questions:

Are there actually "Unique" bodykits, spoilers, rims, etc? I just beat #15 and as a test the first time I chose Unique part and I got rims. When I went to the garage all I had was a selection of the rims I could already buy, except that I could get them for free. :odd: So are there Unique parts to unlock?

And is Need for Speed Most Wanted Black Edition being released for the 360? Or only for the other consoles? I've looked it up on the net and haven't found anything about it for the 360. I want to know before I go out and buy it.
 
Eh, I read somewhere that there is no Black Edition for the 360. Oh well.

Am I the only playing this game for the 360? :odd: Come on, there's got to be someone else out there who's playing it. It's great. And I'd kind of like to see if anyone has any answers about the "Unique Parts" question I had. :dopey: It's no fun beating a blacklist rival and selecting Unique Parts only to find out there's nothing unique about them, you just get them for free. But I've read that some AI racers have unique spoilers and such. So I guess I'll just keep beating every blacklist rival twice to see if I really get anything "unique" or not.

Once I beat the game I'd love to race someone from here online. :D
 
What I'm curious about is that since it's on both the Xbox and the Xbox 360, people should be able to compare the two. It would be interesting to see exactly how the Xbox 360 improves on the Xbox.

yea. i have the game. when you are at the screen where you can purchase parts it is possible to enter the "Backroom" by bressing key "1" or "2". dono. but anyway it takes you to the area where all the parts you unlocked are.


woops. forgot ur on xbox. well i guess you could just findout how to enter the back room. the stuff above i was refering to the pc version
 
I completed it on PC, so i will not be buying it for the 360. If I had to choose between PGR3 and NFS MW, i would choose PGR3 anyday of the week over MW folks.

All you have to do is hit "Y" and it takes you to the back room. Limited stuff though..
I'm #4 working on defeating #3
 
Yeah I know how to get to the backroom haha, but I was referring to the "Unique" parts like the 2 Underground games had. I have now learnt that there is nothing unique about them, you just get them for free. :indiff: Ah well. I'm #7 right now, and about halfway to racing #6. BlackZ28 - Damn you must play a lot. :odd:

I bought it for the xbox when it came out and played for about 7 hours and just could not get into the game. Returned it.
I rented it for the xbox360 and the graphics are a lot better but I still just cant get into this game at all. I tried I really did since I absolutely loved every NFS game that ever came out. I just dont like this one.
To answer your question, it is the same game just better graphics. The story mode graphics are horrible but the game itself is nice in 1080i. Nothing real exciting but nice.
I am having a lot more fun with PGR3. 👍

finished Condemned as well. Gonna play through it one more time too, that game's fun. I hope they make another one :) (i know there's a thread about it.

Playing Kameo too, amazing game. awesome gameplay in this little sleeper title.
 
I bought the game...hunted my tail off for a "Black" copy. Played it for 2 hours and now it's for sale on ebay. I just couldn't get into the game. I think it might be the "arcade" physics. I'm also not much into being chased by cops...I never got through that part of Hot Pursuit. Played & finished U and U2. But I guess my days with arcade racers are done.
 
i got it too, played it, and when i achieved number 4, i returned the game, cause it just got boring.

i loved the old NFS so much!!!! :indiff:
 
I loved to old NFS too... NFS was awesome before underground..the physics totally changed and so did the cars.
 
I liked the first NFS Underground, but 2 was a little too much. I really liked Most Wanted, as I got higher up the Blacklist it only got better, a lot of people are saying that's when it got boring. The one thing that disappointed me about the ending is how you can't touch the BMW M3 GTR. :grumpy: It handles like crap, and you can't add mods or anything to it.

EDIT - Would any of you who have finished this game be interested in racing online? Either post here or send me a message over Xbox Live if you would. :)
