Need For Speed section

Is there any chance of tidying up the NFS section. There is a lot of stickies on the first page and with Most Wanted on the horizon, it could become a bit of shambles. Especially with the online challenges that the Most Wanted 2012 will have. This will require PSN/ Xbox/PC I'ds. Plus there will be the normal outbreak of other topics as well.

Maybe split them up in two, with the Shift games having its own section and the 'traditional' Need for Speed having another. Or at least, add some prefix options, making it easier to locate what game you are after.

I wholeheartedly agree. I made a similar thread last year, and I think Jordan's words might still stick until MWs release

The Shift forum is far too active to be shoehorned into a tag, and I think the Shift series will continue to support a dedicated forum for some time to come. I'll consider adding a forum for the rest of the NFS franchise closer to The Run*'s release, but I don't see enough discussion on it at the moment.

I've unstuck the old Shift threads in there, but I'm not familiar with the upcoming games in the series. What's the release schedule look like?

Tags will most likely be the solution here, as I see very little activity or interest in the NFS forum.

Thanks, Jordan - I visit the NFS Section of the Other Games Forum often and the stickies seemed to be no help except to clutter the front page. I didn't want to complain - but I guess sometimes the squeaky wheel is the one that gets the grease.
While GT remains a strong reason I come over here - the Other Games Forum has a lot of valuable content to me, since I play those games, too, and I find that GTPlanet's threads quite often have more activity, solid information and quicker responses than I get from the actual sites dedicated to those games.
NFS is a great series - and it's good to know you have an interest; Thanks, once again for the attention given.

Criterion's Need For Speed: Most Wanted is due out October 30, 2012 for North America, November 1, 2012 for Australia and November 2, 2012 for Europe.

There's also the Black Box MMO: Need For Speed World which is currently out but always receiving updates and whatnot.

And if Criterion's Burnout Paradise and NFS Hot Pursuit are anything to go by, Most Wanted is going to get a constant spread of DLC andupdates so there should always be some news to report.
