You figure it out.

looks sweet. I wonder if the cop AI will be even more improved. Is this going to be the same idea as THPS:U or will it be just focused on street racing?

This game is all about rice. It sucks. I can tell. Just like The Fast and the Furious sucked. And like Iknow 2Fast 2Furious sucks. They should call this game Need for Suck:Undersuck.

Ok, you made your comment. I Think it looks cool, And The Fast And The Furious and 2Fast 2Furious were good movies.

That game looks pretty bad, and not bad in a good way. I sure won't rent it or buy it untill I hear some great reviews from people I trust.

Close-minded people

You should'nt "judge a book by it's cover" or in this case, "judge an unfinished game by it's screen shots". You should atleast rent it. If you rent it and don't like it, you're only going to be out around $6-7 dollars instead of $50 dollars if you buy the game ;)
If you don't even rent it, you could atleast ask the cleark at Wal-Mart (or your local department store) if he could pop the game into one of the display PS2's so you can see if you like the game or not.

I fully agree with this. :D:tup:

Do they let you do that? That gives me some ideas about how to get my own take on a game without buying it :)

Well, they will do it where I live, but I don't know about where you live though.

Hmmm well im guessing you people have NO taste in games..... its based on NFS:HP2's engine which was good... the graphics are amazing!!!! Some of the best graphics ive seen yet in a racing game if not in any games besides GT3. And for the people who say wow this game is soooooo ugly or the graphics suck man if they suck you people have major problems. Well anyways the graphics are awesome and ive read up on it already and it sounds great so I think it will be an awesome racer.

The I guess you've never seen street racing...

HELLO That's how the cars are supposed to look. Go watch a -REAL- streetrace and not some highschool streetrace.

You'll find some of the cars with more graphics/stickers on em than in those shots.

From all the reviews that I have read about this game from E3, I haven't seen a bad one yet, but I come here, and some of you see a few pictures, and totally give the game a bad review. As if you have seen a finished version of the game, or even played it at all. You can't judge a book by it's cover, and even if. When I saw the pictures it made me want to play this game even more. I think some of you should do some more research before you decide to speak.

The cars are supposed to be ass-ugly? I've seen street races and all I see are modded cars that aren't rice. So if street races are supposed to be good cars weighed down with wrong bodykits, spoilers, wheels, and subwoofers; it of course must be those cool stickers that make them go fast! What the hell was I thinking? I thought you had to have an engine!

warped_devotion is definately the from the scho0l of the fast and furious.....and has apparently never seen a real street race.... :odd: :odd:

Actually, it's the complete opposite. Show cars are the ones with the wild paintjobs/stickers, real racers are the ones that try to keep a low profile. Only highschool ricer kids try to make their cars look like the movies.

The more your car looks like it belonged in Fast & Furious, the more likely the cops are to pull you over, the more likely they find illegal equipment (Which most racers have), then comes the massive fines.

But hey, I could be wrong. Doubt it though.

People that have a lot of money actually do put stickers, and nice kits on their cars along with racing rims, that look pretty nice, but the average person only has enough to make the car fast, or make it pretty. Most of the kids that try to do both, either don't know what they are doing in the first place, or they are spending every dime that they have on their car. the ones that don't know what they are doing are the ones who go out and get a intake, exhaust, body kit, a black hood (not always carbon fiber), and say that their car is now fast.

I really dont care what the theme of the game is. The NFS series has always made good games since its early days. Im just looking forward to thier latest A+ racer.

I read that this game will be like Auto Modellista in the tuning area, but obviously not cel-shaded and not on a track, somewhat like Midnight Club 2 meets Auto Modellista meets NFS. Sounds like a formula for fun to me.
