pretty much shows how greedy the guys at EA are. though if I were you, I'd save up 250k for an El Camino Juggernaut. It's a beast against cops and it does handle like a dream albeit having a slightly worse turning radius than an S15. But it's manageable. Once you get used to it, you'll leave people in teh dust.

(this has been the 3rd or 4th time I said El Camino Juggernaut, right?)

Only a AE86 and a Evo IX... Planning to buy a Gallardo/R8 4.2/GT-R R35 for my Tier 3, but before that, I think I'll buy the El Camino SS
You don't need a Tier 2 car once you got the El CaminoI just dunno if I should buy a competent Tier 1 car or just save it for a Tier 2 car... snobby parents won't let me top-up anymore
The only game that I've spent my (parents') real money on is GT5, no regret
If you're going to buy a Tier 2 car, here's some advice:
Performance wise, you'd choose the Charger Super Bee.
If you don't want to look like most others, but you still want a performance car, then the Evo IX'd be your choice (but it sometimes feel like it understeers
)Another good choice is the RX-7, but it has the lowest performance out of the 3 (when stock, I don't know why some people can get a 440 average for their cars

You should have known by now that the stats of the cars are not accurate. I will give you some examples of the best cars in each tier available for in game cash.But their performance stats are better than the Gallardo?
Top 3 T1: Mazda MX-5, Nissan Silvia [S15], Toyota Corolla GT-S [AE86]
Top 3 T2: Chevrolet El Camino S.S, Lotus Elise, Ford Escort RS Cosworth
Top 3 T3: Lamborghini Murciélago LP640, Porsche 959, BMW M3 GTR [E46]

Well, I just downloaded the game, and I like it!l
Chose the 240SX as my first car. Painted it white with a black hood and spoiler, and black wheels. Did 2 races, then tried a multiplayer race on Camden Hills. Was winning against superior cars until I came over a blind crest straight into some idiot who'd stopped his car in the middle of the road. Finished 2nd, felt like a driving god, received 600 speed boost (?) and bought a stage 2 lowering kit for my car, so it now looks pretty good.
Only problem so far is I couldn't get it to recognise my Xbox controller. Oh, and I'm running it on low detail due to my rubbish PC.
