So I'm having a contest for everyone on this site to build custom tracks that will be used in my racing series. The best way to come up with names for these tracks is to use real world locations, and that's where I need your help.

Taking in mind the Toscana and Eifel course maker locations, can you name areas around the globe that look/feel like these themes? I know their exact locations, but where's the fun in making tracks with names from the same place?

Toscana has that dry, grassy rolling hills with little trees. Kind of has an Australian feel to it. Anyone from there want to chime in?

Eifel is obviously super green, rolling grassy hills, with lots of trees.

Thanks for the help. (mods can move this to wherever they see fit)

Castle Meadows for any Eifel based track.
Or Green Hills Zone(It is from Sonic The Hedgehog 2(SMS version))

There's one Prefecture in Japan that has similar features as to Eifel. Now I just need to remember..

For Toscana, I'm thinking of places on the Iberian Peninsula, or even South Africa. Both locations have large areas of dry grassland.

Eifel could be almost anywhere in Central or Western Europe, like the Czech Republic or any other countries near by (maybe something like Moravia Raceway?)

Luxembourg?

Thanks! Exactly what I'm looking for. :)

The Toscana location reminds me a bit of the Adelaide Hills region, which isn't too far from where I live. But I find it's probably even more reminiscent of the Hunter Valley region in New South Wales.

Doesn't this belong in the GT5 section?

Maybe, maybe not. It's more about real life locations than the game itself. Mods haven't moved it yet so I assume it's okay.

Toscana is in Italy though.

Don't you think I know that? Of course Toscana is in Italy.

He is asking for places around the world that have a similar looking landscape to Toscana and Eifel so that he can apply real world names to the tracks he's creating.
