Alright guys I love GT5 but about 5 months ago I got laid off and had to sell my PS3 and games. Fast forward I am now ready to buy a ps3 and GT5 again. Before I sold it I backed up my game save on a flash drive. I will be using the same name so am I going to have a problem restoring my game? I had about 13 mill, every X2010 and was extremely far in the game. So honestly thats my biggest question. If I have to start over im going to buy a 360 and wait for forza (which I dont want to do) Thanks guys and gals.

If you love the game that much then why even think about a 360,
Your game save should work ok as I've done it!
If not just start again as with all the seasonals leveling up don't take long.

As long as you use the same username on your new PS3 then yes, your save data will still work. Your photomode photos and replays will be gone though. Good luck.

You got laid off? And that far into the game? Ok.......
Well, my PS3 broke down over the summer, and I got a new one. Luckily, I backup the hard drive. I lost my pics, custom tracks and replays, but that's about it. And I lost most of the thumbnails for my cars. But other than that, its still ok.

I'd sell a kidney before I sold my ps3.

Maybe, but it's easier to sell a PS3 and games than a kidney. If you have ever worried about your family not eating, you do whatever you have to in order to take care of them first. Man's gotta' do what a Man's gotta' do
