Need help converting files... pwwweeeease lol

Ok. I have a DVD recorder that can play from usb and the like. I have a few files (With the amount getting higher and higher). They are .flv files, but my recorder only reads .wma or divX files. I'm on 56k dial up so I'm not going to download a 20mb amount of software to do this. Do you know where some lighter/smaller software is that I can use?
