Hey just though i introduce myself before i ask any question. Name's Mikey or you can just call me mike or michael w/e works is fine. I have played and own ever GT game thats been out. Just recently found out you can actually drift/slide your cars in these games. Never knew that learn someone new everyday. Well enough of the intros on to the questions. I'm having a quite a bit of problem trying to drift w/the SA controller and hope that you guys could help give me a few helpful hints to help me become a better drifter. I have adjusted the controller so that the gas is R2 for better throttle control and steering has been move to the Left analog i also you the d-pad sometimes. The car im using atm is a 350z as i been reading on here it seems to be the car of choose for most beginners like myself. Now i have the car stock on n2 tires all around, set to pro, and steering angle to maximum. As of right now im just practicing on my throttle control and angles of turns. the manji drift i think thats what its refer to. I read on one of the other thread to do this type of drift first to get a feel for the control. I'm having problem w/this also i can get it most of the time but not all of the time. My questions are how far is to far when i turn the steering?? Do i use the ebrake to start a drift or do i use the feint which i have been but its still difficult or do i use the regular brake to start it? Do i just want a slight angle or do i want closer to a 90 when i do a drift? And How much throttle do i apply or better yet what speed should i stay in when practicing my drifts? I trying drifting into coners but i always lose control. Do i slow down to a certain speed the turn? I know all of this would be better w/a video of what im do to see what im doing wrong but i don't one atm. Sorry for all the question i just hope someone can help me.
