Hello. Well, I still play on my PS2 considering the games are awesome. So, I need some help fixing it.
The problem is that the console reads certain discs, but some don't work (Including GT4, go figure...). I don't want to send it to Sony, but I also don't want to open it as my cousin broke his that way. So I need help. I don't mean it gets the infamous disc read error or red screen of death, I mean it says reading disc for one second and then it goes away. Some games like Dirt to Daytona and NFL Street work, yet games like GT4 and Dangerous Hunts don't. I had this PS2 for over 7 years, yet my PS1 which my sis got in 99' works like it was just bought a year ago. I cleaned my PS2 by blowing compressed air into the fan and doing disc cleaning with a repair disc, yet it's acting like it's older than dirt!
Any tutorials on fixing it without doing what I stated? Thanks.
