NEED HELP! Logitech G25 Clutch Problem

Hi all,

I recently got my Logitech G25 today for an hour ago. I was so excited about it to try on my GT5 Prologue. At first the clutch worked normally and I could set my gear to "Neutral" where the gear display shows the letter "N" BUT after a couple of laps running the clutch didn't seems to work anymore. ONLY gears work 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and R BUT not N (Neutral). I hold the clutch and put to the gear number 1, trying to push on the throttle but the cars pushes forward insted of reving, other words that means my clutch DON'T work as it did in the first.

I tried again and again, I rebooted my PS3, started the game over again, did everything but the clutch still woun't work! Is there a reset button any place, something I can do in the option menu for steering, anything?

Press triangle button to activate clutch

When you start the race, wait for "Start" on the screen and press triangle. I know it's a pain because you need to do this everytime you start a new race. I don't think PD will do anything about this as the G25 is not "officially" supported in GT5P (it's not on the list of wheels in the settings).

You can't blame them. Having to activate the clutch everytime is senseless.

Also, standing starts without clutch having a G25 is a no-no.

Yes it gets really annoying after pressing it every single race.

Standing starts on online events. You can Press Triangle Long before the 3-2-1 countdown. Just to add that in.

Are you using the same car? Some cars are autos and don't have a clutch (eg Lexus ISF)

Thanks everyone for the help. I think it's ridiculous that you have to press on the Triangle every time to activate the clutch...

Its hardly game breaking but it is mildly annoying.

Hopefully we shall see a fix, at least for daddy GT5

I don't know if its true or not. But I hear the US version should support G25 wheel, so maybe there will be a G25 page in the Options menus. If not I'm guessing its going to be on FULL GT5 game.

The car is Double Clutch right? One member told me One clutch is for gears 1,3,5 and other is for 2,4,6. But its not the only car with double clutch.

correct, also the evo X also has this 2 clutch system, that is why they shift so quickly.

Just seen a vid/ Moving picture on it. And seen how it works. Completly agree with you. Knew Dual clutches existed, but never seen/ Researched into them.
