[Need help] Stuck in Offline mode after 1.59. Could I have been shadow banned by the server?

I'm on PS4 Pro System:12.50. GT7 Ver. 1.59. After successful updated the game last week, played for a while acquiring new cars, then stuck in saving as I tried to modify one of the cars, Closed the game as usual, I may have turned off the console, too, couldn't remember clearly. Since every time it got stuck in saving I need to restart the game and start again, it usually works. But this time I kept get stuck in Offline mode, tried static IP address, changing DNS settings, none of it worked, tried delete and reinstall the game, still nothing, then I deleted the game's save file on the console, thinking it's all on the server, the console might just download automatically, again, nothing.

I tried bringing the console to different networks at friends's apartments in the past two days or so, none of them work for the game, console connects to the internet fine, can get on the PS store fine.

This evening, I tried to start the game on the same console on another account, it works fine after all the new player welcoming settings, logs in home page online as you would to start a new game on GT7. But my main account stuck couldn't log online. Has anyone experienced the same issue? What do I need to do to get my main account's save back? I just got the Porsche to complete all the invitation cars, I really don't wanna have to start all new going through Sarah and the likes. Never had PlayStation Plus, would paying for a month's membership help?

Tried Restoring Licenses, game's still stuck in offline, still forced to start from the very first music rally
The console is Activated as my Primary PS4
Tried deleting main account user in Login - User Management, still no luck, got stuck in the very first music rally, then homescreen shows Offline.
Spec II Version 01.59 e1835d75A

Same console, secondary account logged in to the game just fine, saved progress just fine. Secondary account finished the very first music rally, can log in seeing all the news, home screen has Used Cars available for new users to get their first cars

No. Also that's not how shadowbans work: a shadowban is a ban that the user doesn't realise is a ban; everything behaves normally for them, but anything they send/do is masked from the rest of that community.

Do you get any kind of message about a local/server save conflict when you log in? If you do, elect to use the server save not the local one.

I haven't seen error messages about local/server save conflict when I log in. Turning on the PS4 and log on to the PSN account seems normal, starting the game doesn't show error messages, since the problem, every time it opens like like you're playing the game for the very first time, goes full screen wallpaper, black, then Sony Entertainment, GT logo in the middle then saving icon flashes couple of times, black screen flashing saving, then the Playstation Studio anime logo, and setting up display settings, go into the very first music rally, the game allows me to Begin the game, then main menu where there's news of the game at the bottom with two buttons available [World Map], [Music Ralley] shows up as Offline Mode, tried to getting into the the world map, the game goes into credits and can't skip the video, trying to click reconnect on the top left corner in world map, there's no response. I'll check the world map setting menu again to see if I can find any option to use server save. And get my other PS4 back tonight, try to start the game on that one [has been offline and without latest update for quite a while] then report back. Thanks very much for the reply.

Went into GT menu, tried Global - Network - Delete temporary data from the console storage [turned off Demo and Opening Movie], still no sign of connecting to server, doesn't show any error messages, world map Reconnect no response, back to Home menu, still Offline Mode, not showing Saving icon on the bottom right corner. Dashboard shows nothing [Date on top right corner shows up right]. GT menu has Dashboard and options available, other button like My Page, Online Manual, Beyond the Apex and Return to the Map are all grey and won't respond when clicked. [I've also tried smashing Check for Update of GT 7 every time before I start the game, it checks then says "The installed application is the latest version.]

[Got the secondary PS4 back] Update the PS firmware, Installed GT 7, start the game and got this message " An attempt to connect to the game server from another Playstation 5 console or PlayStation 4 console has been detected. You cannon use the same account to connect to multiple Playstation 5 console or PlayStation 4 consoles simultaneously. Please wait while the previous connection is terminated. " Error code CE-2107A0, it counted to 100% then got in music rally. Still in Offline Mode. Had the first PS4 disconnect and turned off while I tried this on the second PS4. My second PS4 was off for maybe two years or more. I've been playing GT 7 on the first PS4 only, never on any other devices.

Switched back to the 1st PS4, same error CE-2107A0, still offline. PS4 is connect to the modem directly with cable, no VPN, before it was connect to the router both tired wifi and cable, also no VPN.

Found 3 posts on reddit with the same error message, one dude just want to play the game on two consoles simultaneously, it appears he didn't got stuck in offline mode. Second post was from 3 years ago, dude tried to log on to his friend's account to help with the license, he went ahead let the game load, everything was there. Another one from 6 months ago, couldn't tell if the guy has it fixed, but people replying saying this happens quit often when you switch between two consoles. Every time I tried to switch consoles, I turned off the whole thing, never left one in rest mode, all cables off.

I think you need an assistant from Sony or Polyphony at this point.
Have you tried 'Save Data Recovery Request'?
Appreciate the help, I didn't know they have a data recovery service, will definitely try this tonight and report back

Tried Save Date Recovery Request, Selected Data may have been deleted option. Got [Your Save Data Recovery Request has been completed.]

Also went on to PlayStation support to search for Error CE-2107A0, the page showed no relevant result

After trying submit the Data Recovery Request, no luck on the first try, game start with music rally, got into offline mode.
Tried delete Local Saved GT 7 data, turned off console, turned on console, start game again, still loads in music rally first (every since this problem occurred, I always tried to fail the first music rally quick hoping I could get into home menu quicker, but this time I tried to finish 2 of the rallies thinking it may take some time to download save files from server) Now the game's playing unskippable opening movie again, fingers crossed.

Opening Movie finished, no luck, still offline. Checked System Storage 640GB/861GB. There's no Saving icon showing up every time I try to get back and forth between Home page and World map.

Hi bro, have you found ways to fix this issue? I'm having the same problem since yesterday, after I finished an online time trial and did some roulette ticket draws, and then realized that I had reached the maximum credit limit of the game. After that, I directly put my PS5 console into rest mode (I realized later that I might have put it into rest mode right as the draws finished and the game was saving).

The next time I opened the game, it showed that it was in offline mode, which is exactly the same as your situation. After trying things like switching networks and changing DNS settings, I realized my network connection wasn't the issue. Then I tried starting the game with another account on the same PS5, and it played online completely normally. But after switching back to my main account, I still couldn't go online. I tried this three times, and each time it was the same.

I did not delete my data. I found that when starting the game in offline mode, it doesn't play the intro movie, and the 'saving' icon in the bottom right corner flashes for a longer time (compared to when I play online using another account on the same console). I also noticed that in offline mode, when I click the 'connect' option next to the main menu, a flashing 'saving' icon appears in the bottom right corner, but only the first time I click it; subsequent clicks don't show the 'saving' icon anymore.

I tried completing a Music Rally in offline mode. After finishing, the flashing 'saving' icon appeared in the bottom right, but when I restarted the game, I found the Music Rally progress wasn't saved.

By the way, I have the same game version, Spec II Version 01.59 e1835d75A. Besides your post, I haven't found similar issues anywhere else on the English or Simplified Chinese internet, so I suspect this is a bug that appeared with the recent update.

These are all the things I've tried so far. Have you tried contacting Polyphony staff? I plan to email Polyphony's staff first to ask about this. If I get any follow-up results, I'll share them with you. Hope we can resolve this issue soon.

I'm happy to report that I have managed to resolve the issue on my end.

Given that your location also shows China, I strongly suspect this is an issue specific to the Chinese network environment interacting with the GT7 servers.

The method that worked for me was using a game accelerator/proxy. Specifically, I used the 奇游加速器 PC client and followed their guide to set up a proxy connection for my PS5. As soon as the proxy was active and I launched the game, it connected to the server online without any problem.

Here's a crucial discovery: After successfully connecting to GT7's servers one time using the accelerator, I found that I could disconnect the accelerator/proxy and still continue to connect to the GT7 network normally on subsequent game launches. This suggests you may only need the proxy/accelerator for that initial connection handshake to resolve whatever block or state is preventing you from going online.

Therefore, I recommend you try subscribing to a short-term service with 奇游加速器 or a similar game accelerator. Since you might only need it for one successful connection, a very short subscription should suffice. For potentially cheaper options on shorter subscriptions, you might find deals on 淘宝.

I hope this information is helpful and that this method works for you too. Good luck!

Sorry, bro. I just tried simply start the game to see if it works or not, didn't really check on gtplanet forum's replies.

Thank you so much for the suggestion, I'll definitely try that. The Telecom tech guys couldn't figure out the problem when I first had the issue, they suggested using a paid gaming proxy service, too. I guess I forgot that after trying to start the game on a secondary account.

Bro, it worked instantly! Thank you so much for the help! I don't know if the problem would go away when I turn off the gaming proxy, will report back when I try the game with gaming proxy off. Really appreciate your reply and help. Almost thought I was sure gonna lose my game progress if this problem doesn't go away after next update.

Edit: Bro, I tried starting the game without the game proxy, game got in world map and garage fine, as soon as I selected 812 Superfast trying to return to map from garage the game stuck the same way as the problem first occurred. Seems like I'll have to use the game proxy for now. I'm using the Netease UU proxy, used to play world of warships a lot with it.

Fantastic news that the accelerator worked instantly for you too! BTW, thank you for sharing your initial situation, it saved me a lot of time and frustration trying basic network fixes.

It's a bit disappointing that the issue came back when you turned off the proxy, as it didn't happen to me (at least for now lol). It's strange that it reverts without the proxy, but as long as the proxy provides a working solution for playing, it's not a huge problem.

This really points towards some kind of specific network challenge or a persistent bug related to the update and the mainland China internet connection, perhaps even related to current server loads or checks with the recent GT World Series events? It's hard to say for sure.

Please do keep sharing if you find out anything new, or if the situation changes, keep in touch.
