Ok I know this says its a Blazer but its clearly not. I'm guessing someone here might know, like is it the Asian version? or maybe a Euro version? I don't know so I'm asking the community.

I've never seen the vehicle before, but a few things.

The top (all the windows, mirrors, and pillars) look exactly like the 1995-present Blazer - as if it hasn't even been altered. The license plate is 6" x 12", North American size, and appears to be a take off on Argentina's current plate design. Given Chevrolet's presence in South America (and the fact that they've got many non-North American vehicles in South America) and the fact that the website is AutoCentro C.A. (Central America?), I'd bet anything it's the South/Central American version of the Chevrolet Blazer.

If tercel_driver were still here, you could get him to translate Chevrolet Brazil's mainpage to find out if I'm right.

Alright well thanks for taking a looking. I've asked my Blazer forum but they are a bunch of idiots who just want to know what it would look like slammed.

Its from South America like you said. I went to the GM - Brazil website. I thought I could read it, I know spanish so so, the I was like oh ya they speak Portegeus (I so slaughtered that spelling.)

Ah and I found out its the Asian Blazer as well, its comes with a 2.8L V6. By far the worst motor ever made by GM.

GM makes a 2.8L V6? Odd, their American 2.8L (used in the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon) is a four - in fact, it may be the largest four of all time.

It's ugly, whatever it is.

Would that be Blazinlow? Because they were a bunch of idiots.

Ya sorta them and a few other forums.

But yes in China I guess there is a limit on the size of the engine they can have so they put back the 2.8L V6. The one from the older Blazer. And like I said worse thing ever.

Like you've said, you know nothing about cars before 1989. :D

The 2.8L V6 is the first member of the Chevrolet 60° V6 family. It was first used in the X-bodies (Citation/Phoenix/Skylark/Omega) then in the A-bodies (Celebrity/6000/Century/Cutlass Ciera), J-bodies (Cavalier/J2000/Skyhawk/Firenza/Cimarron ;) ), F-bodies (Camaro/Firebird), S-10/S-15 pickups and the Blazer/Jimmy. It was also used in the '84-'86 Jeep Cherokee and Wagoneer.

It was stroked (or was it bored... I can't remember now...) to 3.1L in the late '80s for use in the first generation W-bodies (Grand Prix/Regal/Lumina/Cutlass Supreme). It was once again bored or stroked or both to 3.4L, and used in, again, the W-bodies, F-bodies, N-bodies (Malibu/Grand Am/Alero), U-bodies (Lumina APV/TransSport/Silhouette). The basic 2.8L engine still lives in in the form of the 3100 and 3400 V6's. There are also 3.0L and 2.5L versions used in the Chinese Buick Regal.

The 3100 and 3400 aren't too bad, but the 2.8L was a gutless turd.

(And 2.8L is not the largest I4 ever put into a car or truck. Porsche used a 3.0L in the 968)

Why is why I asked the question. :)

Yeah, we've been through this. Not we, but ///M-Spec and me.
