well first your car should have some decent modes on it like a racing chip for more hp and have a car wash and oil change to also improve hp. btw what car are you using. It's very easy with the trueno from toyota

I think I used the MX-5 Miata, but the Trueno is easily capable of winning them as well. They aren't that difficult, even with an unmodified car, but a few tweeks like racing exhaust, mod chip, and lightweight stage 1 will always help. Plus an Oil change will always boost the hp a bit. Good luck :)

You can win it with a stock trueno, mx5 and new beetle easily!

Just make sure you get out of the first corner at least 3rd or 4th in the deepforest race because that MR2 is a little bastard!

well if he's a begginer it will be hard with stock tureno or miata. I remeber when i was doing it i could never win it with the miata or tureno. So i did the super speedway 30 times then sold both my cars and bought a Mustang SVT Cobra (30,000) and u can put some mods on it. This is an awesome starting car. After u get use to it, you'll thank me :p

I don't think the Cobra is a good second car, because if your new to GT3 you have to learn how to steer. Not how to give full trottle and woooosh by the competition!

Ahh... I'm not sure that I agree with that one... I myself *always* started out with a car that overpowered the competition... Basically, what it boils down to is, if you can't win, the game no longer becomes fun... There are too many other things out there to distract me from something that I'm not winning at.

But, now that I have been playing it for quite a while, my skills have started to improve. And, believe it or not, I owe it all to that stupid flashing light telling me when to brake.

<shrug> Play with whatever method you feel most comfortable with. I myself have started to learn the finer points of braking and all that jazz... But, do what you feel is best. I myself acknowledge that most people here are WAY past my driving abilities. Geez, I'm sure there's some folks here that have never driven a real car that could whoop me in the game.

Hmm... I'm not sure what my point is. I'm just gonna go back to work now.

i think using the vitz for this would be really good, great car easily a winner!!

I used the Miata also. I had no problems. I had been away from GT for quite a while. So I had to sharpen up my skills before I could compete. I will have to say this game makes the driving experience than previous installments.... :burnout:

The Trueno, PT Cruiser, MX5 Miata, are all good starting points. If you are new to Gran Turismo. The first thing you must learn is to brake before you think you should. In these cars, at least get off the throttle before you think you should.
If you haven't done any license tests go do them now. Each series will improve your skills.
If you have trouble passing the tests, watch the demo before the test and try to duplicate that line.

Yes, get some license tests out of the way. That may hinder you getting into some series a little later on in the game. Even if you have the winning car, you can't even enter without the license specification being met first.... Yes, demos and replays help A LOT!!!
