Hi,

I've won the FR-Cup in the Amateur Leauge a long time ago, but I sold the Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex Shigeno Version that I've won there. :banghead:
I've watched the Initial D series and I'm a lil' bit impressed with the drifting capabilitys of this car.
Now I want the car back... but HOW!?!:boggled:

Do I have to buy a 2nd Mem card and get the licenses and a tuned FR-car from my 1st mem card???

If I transfer the liceses from my 1st mem card to my 2nd card, are they still on my 1st card or ONLY on the 2nd card?

Please help me out!!

Thx already!!!

Grtz,
Stefan

Why spen $30 on a new memory card when you can spend $30 on am X-port and have free access to every vehicle in the game + 99 billion dollars + even more stuff!

I've looked around for a GameShark for the PS2... but don't found one!! :(
If I buy a 2nd Mem Card... it's not only for GT3, but I can use it for a lot of more games...

Not tryin to be a d!ck dude,.. jus want to see you get the right product ;)

To answer your question,.... no, you CANT get it again,....... without starting over on a new memcard, OR,.... buy an x-port and never worry about buying or winning another car ever again ;) 👍

And yes,... you can get them in holland.

Alright... sorry... but I don't want to start all over again!
All those ****ty races... :irked:
Alright... I'll look around for a X-Port in Holland, but I don't feel like buying a X-Port in the US or something...

Thx anyway!! :)

Sure,.... np 👍

X-port is for PAL (european) users,...... sharkport is for NTSC (american ans Japanese) users. You should have no problem finding an X-port on the net or at the nearest 'gaming' store :D

You need USB capabilty in your PC to use the X-port, so be sure you have that before you get it. 👍

But my way to get the Trueno gotta work right?!
Why can't I do the Mem-card trick??

Anyone who knows a way to get the Trueno without starting all over again and buying stuff like a X-Port or something???

@ DrifterBR >>> Ya, I know, but I've asked all my friends who plays GT3, but every1 sold it! :(
Because of the good money you'kk get for it!!

@ incubusnb >>> Yeah... that's what I was thinking... to start a new game on a 2nd Mem Card and transfer the licenses and a car under 18000 cr (??), win the car, transfer it back!
But if I transfer the licenses to the 2nd car... are they gone from the 1st card or do I have the lisenses on botch cards then??

you should have the Licenses on both cards, if not you can always try to transfer them back, but i'm almost certain its just a copy

Alright... then I go buy a 2nd Mem card tomorrow...
Thanx a lot for your help!!

@ Red Eye Racer >>> Thank u 2 for your help with the X-Port!!
I still want 1 now!! :)

The last thing I want 2 do is "cheating", cuz u'r ruining the game by doing so!!
I like tricks, but I hate "cheats"
But the X-Port may become handy by backing-up savegames!! ;)

It is very easy to determine if some one cheated by using a hybrid for the X-port.

In fact,.. it's litterally impossible to cheat if you know how to work MK's garage editor to it's maximum efficentcy.

Even though you can sell this car for 125,000 cr. doesnt that make you curious?

Maybe it IS worth that much!

I really dont understand why people want money so bad in GT3. By the beginning of Amateur league you are a millionaire! So why would you horde money.

I have a friend that would sell every car, and he was so obsessed with hording money in GT3. He is almost completed the game, and he's got millions of dollars and something like 16 cars! What fun is that? Especially when you can't just go out and buy like 25% of the cars in the game!

Some people are so stupid.

You can get "only" 387 horses out of the trueno, so it's nothing special!!
That's why I sold it and hey... 125.000 cr is al lot of "money" in the beginning!!

true, i may have about 40 million, but i also have every unique car i've ever won, i always checked to see if i could buy the car again before i sold it

Somehow I don't think it's that easy (millions at beg. of amature),... and also I'd be short-pressed to call them stupid for doing it.

Maybe the guy wanted full mods for all his high-powered street cars. Maybe he like to have tire options. Ya know, a set of T8's costs 48,000,.... that's not cheap.

Plus, what's the point of having a garage full of cars if you're never going to race most of them? Personally I'd rather have a small selection of cars that I can do virtually anything with, rather than a bunch of "rare" cars that I can't do hardly anything with cause I'm too broke to work on them.

start a new game on another mem card, win the car, trade with yourself

You know you can't trade that car. Atleast not in the PAL version if I remember right...

Should get an x-port, if i was you.

I'm looking for a X-Port, but in the mean time I want to get the AE86 with the trading-tricks!
We'll see if the car is tradable... :)
If not, I've 3 options:
- Leave it that way... cuz I can always get the "normal" AE86
- Starting a new game
- Buy a X-Port and get the car

I think the third option sounds the best.

Alright... I found only 1 X-Port in a (on-line)shop in Holland (Flashpoint-Games)
I asked for the price but no answer so far!!
If they send it 2 me, I'll buy it, cuz I don't want to travel 5 hours and pay 30 Euro only for the train!!

Trade with a friend who has it.

Trading is like buying... I've tried to trade a FR-car from Mem card 1 -> Mem card 2
It's only worth about 7.750cr, so it shouldn't be a problem since u have 18.000cr to spend on a car with you'r new game!

When I wanted to trade the car, it's price wasn't 7.750cr but it's about 32.000cr!!!
That's the new-price of the car!!!

Since you can't buy the Trueno Shigeno, u can't trade it, or is trading possible?!?!

How do I handle this problem without a X-Port or GameShark etc???

The Shingeno Version of the Hachi Roku (AE-86) is the NOT the Initial D car, Your thinking of Takumis car, which is close but that SS next to the Trueno Title stands for Shigeno Shuuichi, He is the Author of Initial D and that is a replica of his Hachi Roku, and yea like user said, why dont u do the races again??:odd:??

U can only win a car for the 2nd time if u'r racing a tournament!!
I've done the 3 races of the A'teur FR cup and won the Trueno Shigeno and sold it!
If I race the 3 races again... nothing happenes (you'll get the prize-money 3 times, but no car right)???
