Need help with Wingman Formula Force with PS3

I bought a Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel off craigslist today and I can't get the PS3 to recognize it. I've seen that people have used it on their PS3 and in GT5 (which is what I'm going to use it for), but I can't get it to connect. Whenever I connect it to the PS3, it pops saying that an unrecognized USB device has been connected. Can anyone help?

I've connected it to my PC and it calibrates just fine, so I know it works.
 
Hmm. Surprised it doesn't just recognize as a GT Force. Don't know what to tell you, maybe the PS3 just knows the difference.

It's not just GT5, it's not even calibrating when I turn the PS3 on. It doesn't recognize it at all.
