Hey GTplanet, I'm thinking of buying my first Racing wheel but I'm extremely uneducated in this field of hardware. I would preferrably like to have a wheel that's setup for PS3 and PC, but at the same time I would like a wheel for Xbox One because of The Crew/Forza 5/Horizon 2/Project CARS. I would just like some advice and suggestions on a good first racing wheel.

My budget is about £80-£180 depending on the platforms the wheel is available on. I am also thinking of the TX 458 Wheel as that works for XB1/PC but I'ts nearly £300.

So could anyone help me out?

PCars will be released on all platforms. PC version will be superior as always.

Sadly the dream wheel that support all platforms don´t seem to exist. Which is quite a dilemma. I currently have a Thrustmaster TX that support Xbox One and PC. But I also have a Xbox 360 and a PS 3 but no Xbox One ;). And if I get a wheel that supports for example PS 3 and Xbox 360 like the Fanatec GT2 or CSR then I have no wheel that is supported on PS 4 most likely anyway. So I need three wheels no matter what. One for the old consoles. Fanatec. A Xbox one wheel and a PS 4. All works on the superior PC platform that don´t do this crap.

As for in your budget I am interested as well in a second wheel. Just won a playseat challenge so now have a cockpit in all rooms except the kitchen. What I found is a F458 Italia with no force feedback at all for Xbox 360 that is perhaps 80 GBP. As soon as you want ffb it goes up a bit for the Fanatec rims. There is some thrustmaster with vibration feedback which is just as expensive too, but if it´s your primary setup I think I would spend a bit more for a TX and don´t look back if you are getting a Xbox One. What I seen of drive club hasn´t impressed. GT6 pissed me off so much I now don´t own a PS 3 wheel and don´t miss it whatsoever.
