Having trouble with the advanced Nascar challenges. The one where you start at the pit is really kicking my a$$! I enter the pack in 6th place and cannot place higher than 3rd. Anyone have any suggestions?
You need to cut across the bumper of the 6th place car (so 4 cars should have passed you) and remain in drafting distance to 4th. From there, you draft til max speed then pass and catch the next car.

If you haven't turned the ABS to '0' - do so and retry the challenge. For some reason, I found that the ASM stopped being so intrusive once the AntiLockBraking was turned off... Try that, it got me an "easy win" after struggling massively... You then don't even have to "cut in front" of the pack. Cheers, and good luck.
The AI drivers are very predictable as well. So once you turn off all assist and get to the front quickly. You need to check your mirror and determine where the other cars are in the straights. They should be up next to the wall. Drive on the inside next to the line and they will not catch your draft. I beat them by almost 4 seconds.
The tough one is indy.
Why did you put ABS off? Thats for braking and its even THAT ONE thing you just dont have to do in NASCAR racing, so why put it on 0? I did it with ABS on 2 so it doesn't matter.
