In the quest to figure out why my girlfriend and I cant stay online together with the 360, I decided mabey someone can provide some help.
I have the D-link DI-604 Version 3.20
http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=62
I have went to the website and tried to DL the firmware but they dont seem to have what I need for our version. I even clicked on "Xbox Live Compatible"
then I get here. http://games.dlink.com/products/xbox_live_compatible.asp#compatiblechart
After that I get here. http://games.dlink.com/products/support.asp?pid=62
Is there something I am missing? Obviously getting ahold of D-link is impossible on the phone.

When we are online together in the same room one of us will usually get kicked off line or disconnected. Sometimes both of us. This used to happen to us when we both played Medal of Honor on the PS2. It also used to happen on Need for Speed underground on PS2. Someone gave us instructions for opening ports on the router but that was almost 3-4 years ago. Used to be really bad on EA servers. Actually we couldnt even host a room on the PS2 games unless we opened the ports on the router.
Now that we both have 360s it seems like its happening again. I was just wondering if someone knew exactly what do to for the 360.
We never had any problems with our xbox's.

Thank you for the link. If I cant get any answers or help from D-link at lunch today then I will ask some questions on that site you posted. I wouldnt even care if I could open all the portals if it didnt hurt anything. Not sure how all that works but all I want to do is play with my girlfriend without getting disconnected. Thats not asking for much IMO. Will opening all ports hurt anything? Does that take a while or is it very easy?

Yes, opening all ports would be a bad thing. It would basically make one of the reasons for having a router (firewall) moot since every port would be open.

Setting up port forwarding is very easy and straight forward. I've got a Dlink router as well so if you need any help you can ask me. There's step by step instructions on that site so you shouldn't need to ask for help but if you need some, send me a message on MSN or PM or something. :)

T/y for the help so far. There are several other members on this board that have the same router as I do and they also have problems. So the information in this thread will be helpful to all of us.
I just got off the phone with D-link and they sent me the information to open up the ports for Ghost Recon. He said it should work even though it didnt specifically say GRAW. If this works I try to open ports for PGR3.

I will also add this to the first post for easy access.
