Hi all,

I would like to have the song that's played in the GTC ending Movie. It's that classic song... I think its great! especially for cruising.

Doesn't anyone know where I can find or download it?!

many tnx,

Quattro

It is a pretty good song but i have no idea where to get it. It could have been made just for the game maybe?

Err, not sure what cables you got, better ask someone else but there is a cable which links from the PS2 to a USB port. I don't think it came with the PS2 originally though. Plug that into a USB port, use any type of recording software and select Audio only from USB port no. ?

Try asking in the computer forums for more help.

Yea, once you get it on man, upload it onto some sever, then link us to it. I'm curious onto what it sounds like. :)

word! i'm going to search for it right now! :P

i'll post if i find anything :D

i personally e-mailed PlayStation Consumer Care Team and i got the following answer:

"The music from the Gran Turismo Concept end movie was written specifically for
the game by Japanese composer Isamu Ohira and is unfortunately not available to
buy separately. There is also no officially supported way of copying the music
track directly from the disk."

keep looking!

It sort of turns into a remix of the GT2 theme, which I love. You can find that tune on the net under the artist name 'Masahiro Ando & Isamu Ohira'.

I've searched, and found nothing at all.

are you talking about the GT2 Theme... in that case I can send it to you if you PM me your Email for MSN Messenger...

Edit: saw you posted your MSN... i'll add you right now

Hey, I think I got what you need.

Track Title: Moon Over The Castle
Artist: Masahiro Ando & Isamu Ohira

Where To Find It: Kazaa, I have the song. But I also have some others. Like Overseer with that heavy metal / techno type song....its really good cuz it goes with fast paced racing.....like Moon Over The Castle, does. :) I Hope I was of help.

isn't that the GT2 Theme?
Yea it is, well on the Japanese Version. For some reason they gave us Lenny Kravits here in the U.S........which I though sucks because that songs really is Gran Turismo. It has been with the series for a while and it goes with it.....the fast pace of it and all. But are you guys looking for a different song?

Just for the Hell of it...these are some songs that go along with High Speed (Red line)racing on the freeway....of course when there are no other cars (2 - 4am)

1. Moon Over The Castle -- Masahiro Ando
2. Stompbox -- Overseer
3. My Favorite Game -- The Cardigans

well I thought I had more but only those 3 came to mind....oops! :) oh well.

I'm making do with the video file from the clips...
Its interesting how my version is different to this version in terms of movie. I'm not sure what mine is, but it has the integra, NSX, GTR concept and the Mazda6... I reckon it suits it more.

Digging up this old thread, but you can extract the video file from the GTC Disc, and de-multiplex to extract the audio perfectly. Use GT3VOL to get at the movie and then PSSPLEX to extract the sound.

Which one do you mean?
the classical bit where it shows the ford GT?
The next song is called "the reason is treason" But I dont know who it is by.

If you need to record sound from GTC, or can't find the music anywhere online, just do this (if you have a good soundcard).
  1. Bop on over to your local Radio Shack (or general parts store for non-US people), and pick up an adapter; AV-to-1/8-inch plug.
  2. Plug that into your computer, after hooking it up to the Playstation 2's analog output (red to red and white to white)
  3. Start the computer and the game. If you have headphones and recording software, you'll be able to hear the input directly through the headphones.
  4. Record the music, save, and enjoy. :)
  5. IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK find a friend with the technology you need to accomplish the task, and complete it (if you need to, bring your own peripherals - the PS2, the TV, the adapter, etc.). If you're willing to pay shipping both ways, I'd be more than happy to capture the songs on my computer (should anyone want it, I have the GT4 version of "Moon Over the Castle;" it starts out with a chorus singing over an orchestra, and then shifts to a heavy metal interpretation of the music, later blending into a perfect mixture of modern and classical music).
