needing help with controller setup

Can anyone point me to an already completed or do it yourself set up for stabilizing a steering wheel and pedals?
I'm using the Logitech Driving Force Pro and playing on a 61" dlp. I'm hoping for something that's has it's own seat. I just can't get comfortable sitting on the couch, and having the stupid thing on your lap is retarded.
