Don't flame me for asking this but I just wanna know, is it bad for the transmission to rev the engine in neutral to near redline then shift into drive (causing a mild kick or whatever). It's a 93' Maxima, auto.
This has been asked many times before (god knows why). What do you think? Is it designed to do that? NO. Does it make a horrible sound? YES. In short, yes it is very bad to do that. If you want to get off the line quicker, buy a car with manual transmission.
