Can anyone tell us about the stock transmission? Some people are saying that it behaves like a manual now, with visibly longer shift times compared to the normal GT-Rs (07, 09 SpecV), and shifts to neutral when idle.

Any comments on the handling stock against the SpecV?

one thing it seems to lack is stock downforce, hitting that jump before the sweeping right handers on Nurburgring really sends the car flying, almost like an Enzo, much moreso than the SpecV, top speed with no draft is right around 240MPH

I've got mine up to 299 miles and it's holding station at 954bhp. It'll top out at 251mph without drafting, and have hit the limiter at 283mph drafting 3 enzos. (must lengthen 6th for the next round!)
(251mph in the return tunnel, 248 in the first, uphill one)

Yes and no. (just my opinion, remember)

The GTR is an absolute beast, no question it's worthy of it's place.
The Scirocco punches way above its weight on sheer speed. Running in a 544pp room at SSR7, this had only 525pp, 419bhp (not even 30miles on it) yet was still competitive. Easily reaches 200mph.
The Golf feels underwhelming, but again, this is also not run in, so may well improve. It just feels less "alive" than the R32 standard car.
I've yet to do anything to the mini, but it looks okay.

A little bit underwhelmed by the rather limited visual upgrades, if I'm being completely honest, they really should have taken a little more time and made RM versions, but standalone, they're pretty much worth the £3 something outlay.

how are you getting 251? even at 954HP it just doesn't have the power to keep pulling for me

It's all about the gearing. My final drive is at 3.500, and the gearbox theoretical top speed (the red one at the top right in the trans settings) is 299mph. I will be posting up a full tuning guide for it soon in my tuning thread. This monster pulls utterly cleanly up to around 240mph then starts creeping.

If you want veyron killers there some certain setups that can beat veyrons and drivers and thing like that, connection, reaction time but if the veyron has bad setup a Gtr can beat it no problem.

I have my Gt-R R35 with already 965hp with just one oil change, just 300 kilometers of use and I havent opened the engine yet, which means it will certainly reach 990+, I hope.

I just finished my second oil change and got 968HP. I havent opened the engine yet, I am pretty confident I can pull 1000+.
