
Alfa Romeo will introduce by late 2011 the new Giulia. Front wheel drive on a Giullieta modified chassis and with engines ranging from 1.4L 135hp to a 3.3L V6, based on the Chrysler Pentastar, with an output around 300hp. The premium car with sporty ambitions will directly compete with the BMW 3-series and the Audi A4.
For enthusiasts dissapointed in the front drive direction, Alfa introduces the Active Roll System which controls the suspension and adjusts the dampers according to parameters such cornering, speed and throttle. In addition the driver can choose between two presets, Comfort and Sport. The car will also utilize the DNA system already in place in the MiTo and Giulieta.
