my times are weedy compared to the one's being clocked :( i'm sticking with the 001, but can only manage a 1'12.109 right now, will keep trying or will tackle it tomorrow :)

good luck with the times DC, i don't think i'll be much competition until a wring every ounce of bhp outa this beastie, hee hee :)

btw DC, i'll be in your neck of the woods for a couple of weeks from Thursday, doing the Disney gig, it should be a good crack :D well Toronto's not that close, but in the same very big space :)

i assume i can speak for ya here dude in that it's probably best with no hybrids, straight outa the box F1 cars, full mods and no funny stuff troops :D
 
well that's me knackered, must go to bed now, lots to do tomorrow :) sadly i can only manage 1'10.398 and i can't see me beating that tomorrow.

No hybrids are allowed. It is stated in the rules that no alterations are allowed on your car, only settings can be changed.

STANDINGS:

4th: GTS-R_MAN - 1'13.591

If you guys could put what f1 car you are using after you put your times, that would be great. My time will be on soon :D

I will try to get a time up im running so many race's at the mo on the racing line Leaque tables

I will be starting on the F1.s when im done with the R390 only one or two left to do
hopefully i can squeeze in a time between these ;)
 
I mean besides IForceV8, I'm not seeing any one I *know*.

Am I not the only one that has taken a break from this game? :confused:

If I remember right, my time at Seattle in an R390 GT1 LM is 1'10'401 (maybe faster - can't remember) - so where is everybody? (Okay, just checked my times - it's 1'10'368 - 2nd in a non-F1 car, is noone interested in this game anymore?)
 
I'm taking a break from F1 cars at the moment, dont know about everyone else but most of us are in the GTDS2
 
guy I'm seeing in this compo, can you guys accept this R390 time? (Don't want to break out and do an F094/S lap, because if I do - I won't want to stop playing and I won't get to sleep for work.) - Yeah, I'll take the handicap. :p

Tiny challenge for you though James if you want to accept it, my time isnt even all that great, I can get it faster, just dont have the time.....R390 ssr5 wet.
 
Probably will be the weekend - as the full time job and my programming hours + family + other things == LACK OF TIME.

But you have to know the R390 is my BABY. :fdevil: - if and when I do take the challenge - my next goal is getting that 3'21'913 at Complex under 3'20. :D

I do know SSR5 is your track Zero, frontwards, backwards, dry or wet - but I'll take a crack at it when I can. ;)
 
I know all about you and your R390:p....thank you about saying I'm good at SSR5, although I cant drive SSR5 dry as good anymore:cry:
 
If I had the time, I would've entered GTDS2, and compete with Arco for the driver's title - but I don't have the time to put in my best. (Even though I know the guy would still play more than me and come out #1. ) Video games are FAR from my priorities right now - at 22 years old - that happens. RL takes precedence over AR (alternate reality) - and women - oh yeah, they take your time too. (Even it's just thinking about someone, it takes up your time.) There's no way I could put in a decent time with my state of mind - I'm on bigger and better things right now, my heart wouldn't be in it.

So until GT4 - I don't think you'll see much of me, and maybe not even then if I settle down and have kids. If that happens sometime between now and GT4 - you'll see an official retirement from me - because raising a family with my future bride (whoever she might be) is my #1 priority. If not, you'll see me take one last stride (GT4) to make my Gran Turismo accomplishments list even longer (even if it's just for a few months). I hope I'm married by then to be honest, but if I'm not I hope that Polyphony Digital makes an effort to allow online play to work across NTSC/PAL boundaries - so everyone can find out who really is better - Arco, or me. Because frankly, I'd really like to know how quickly Arco can get fast times. (That was one of my original reasons for leaving - feeling that some of the drivers out there spend many more hours on racing than I did. I also have seen dialogue of this, once hearing about Mr P staying up for 6 hours working on a time - I've never spent that much time in one sitting, let alone half that time.)

I do have to say this - Arco is f:censored:ing fast - but how fast is what I want to know. Is it all talent? Or is it determination and patience - that's what I want to know. He's obviously got more time and patience than I do - I'll give him a big props for that.
 
James, you do realize GT4 wont be released until 2004 in the states right? I have a girl myself too, her and NFSHP2 are distracting me from GT3

i object the Ezcudo iz way better than the F094/s. The F094/s haz better handling but when it comez to HP and MPH the Ezcudo iz hella better the Ezcudo goez 301 eazily

I meant lap time wise, and learn to spell for Pete's sake, stop trying to be gangsta by spelling "is" "iz" your not gangsta so dont act like one.
 
Guess I'll resurrect this one since I'm new here and was looking for a good one:

1:05.868 F094S, downforce turned all the way up and an oil change.

What are these hybrids people mentioned earlier? Are there cheats to swap engines into different cars?
 
Hybrids are what you can do to your cars with the Gameshark or other means.
Oh and yes to your question.
There are sections on here where that can be explained a lot better.
