Just ran a couple of TT in Arcade. You now have an option to choose your tires (which I'm pretty sure was set to a default previously) up to a certain level eg. N1,N2,N3,S1,S2.

Just ran a couple of laps on Fuji in the Tuned Clio: yay, No.1 ranking! :D ...
(out of 3! ;)). Time was a couple of seconds faster than previously, which suggests they have "improved" the handling - just RWD cars? or ALL cars?

Any other TT results to report?

ive also been on fuji speedway F and managed a 1,42,455 in my Mines R34 but im a noob so i dont know if it is a good time or not, i only know i got 1st by about 0,600 of a second

yeh it is Very Easy to get a P1 at the moment, unless its one of the harder guys to drive that only the elite drive.

i've ran about 5 time trials, 4 P1's and 1 P2. hardly trying

I've got a few No. 1 rankings too :D I like the updated time trial interface. The only thing missing is an overview of all my own rankings.

I managed to get some seconds off of some personal records as well, so it looks like the handling has been changed. Probable the tyre handing as mentioned by the release notes.

This is my major question.

It shouldnt be a question if you read the news section regarding the update..

They updated the N-S tyre physics.
So it applies to ALL cars using that tyres.

Yes, almost all of us have read and understand that they've update tyre physics...... but here is an example:

Pre August 1 update times - Suzuka East - Concept By GT Corvette Tuned:

54.262

Post August 1 update times - Suzuka East - Concept By GT Corvette Tuned:

52.405

Know i don't know about others... but i ran approximately 50 laps to get that 54.262 lap, yet after the update i run over 2 seconds faster over the course of a 50 odd second lap.... and that was after about 6 laps.

It's a massive remapping of tyre physics. Massive.

Yep. I ran 2 secs faster than my previous best on my second run round Fuji.

It kind of brings home to you that we're all puppets & KZ is the puppet-master...

I think it depends on the track - the High Speed Ring had some serious barrier flaws in it which were taken advantage of previously. The previous best lap in a Dodge Viper SRT10 was about 1:12 and now I'm guessing the best time is going to be closer to 1:14 which was the best I could manage without ramming the barriers before.
