I'm sorry to say but your guidelines for joining the team were not only hard to achieve considering what you're asking of aussies with such a small community, but inevitably you've started off with the wrong mentality for making a solid team.
First off the real people that know in our neck of the woods, know that what you're asking for is people faster than you and vtec and besides the fact vtec is/was one of the best guns around these parts you're never going to get that. You honestly expect someone to just waltz along with better tuning skills and a better tree than vtec to just want to up and join your team? Those people are well beyond wanting to join a recently formed team.
Secondly you have things like 'May the lord have mercy on you; cos trust me I won't..' and post things like:
Gotta prove yourself still mate. Gotta contend with one of my FFs and a car of typeR's choice
and
Team me? Haha me u type r.. We can kill aus 1/4.
You the rwd king, him the awd and me the fwd
I haven't asked him yet.
And I have ties with GME at the moment so idk.
Edit: before anyone says anything I'd prefer a team where tunes aren't shared but rather methods and tips..
Those right there prove you're not really the kinda person that should run a team nor even be on a team, not to mention you edited the first post in here from having to beat you and vtec to merely having to contend. Funny thing you would have been waiting a long time for some random to be able to beat vtec, i'd say he was probably beaten for the first time the other night by a so-called random whom I was accused of being.
You don't do much in the way of helping our community, i'm yet to meet someone praising you for helping them on GT5. I've sat in the shadows for a long time now and even with the few weeks i've come back to GT5 i've made some people infinitely faster than they were when I met them, thing is they will tell you this happily, and therein lies the problem, who made you fast? I'll admit Karo's times helped me get to know where my tunes were lacking, but all these secret lil tidbits like toe settings and gear flipping, i've known since before most were even here. I've got a message from way back from a friend telling me about trans-flipping and i can prove that.
Ultimately though, it's very clear to faster people and others not so ignorant that you want the fastest and/or faster than you and vtec, which might have been the fastest that you know of, but what you don't know could fill a storage container, i started my team based on helping the AUS/NZ community grow, get faster overall, having fun together and surviving the test of time, though this last one is very hard when you know like I do the inevitabilities of dragging online on GT5, but because of my wealth of experience I know ways to 'Keep Dragging Fun'(taken out of my drift days experience). I think you should have realised people would catch on this, especially the faster people and that you're not really trying to make a 'good' team, just a fast one.
