New bug: on Nurburgring clouds disappear . . .

At a guess, they fixed it, then another engineer fiddled with his earlier release and pushed it, although one would think that software version control would avoid these backpeddling errors... To be a fly on the wall at PD's headquarters...

...the lighting on Nurburgring 24 Hour has been altered. It looked absolutely jaw dropping before, driving at 19:30 with a clear sky, now it just looks...meh. There's also an intermittent bug where all the clouds disappear, & the sun doesn't change colour when it sets. Glare in mirrors used to look awesome, now it just looks underwhelming.

The bug came about after an update in the lighting effects, my guess is that they optimized them to steal processing power for something else. 1.03 lighting was phenomenal! :drool:
 
Makes sense, although the re-emergence of an earlier bug often implies that someone has circumvented version control, although admittedly, one can't ignore the possibility they unfixed it on purpose.
