New bug? Online opponents showing in wrong/previous car

Racing online sometimes the car you are in will appear to be a different car to some other racers, Usually it will appear to others as the car you were in previously. I think this also happened very rarely at the start of GT6 or GT5.

Has anyone found out about the Dino not having any visible racing exhausts yet?
 
Another glitch that needs to be get rid of (and I know it's been discussed already) is the people not able to see others. It can be 12 people in the room but only see 7 on track. This happens way to often and takes away the fun of online. Before pd comes out with any other content this needs to be fixed first. Then they can go ahead and release content.

I experience that whenever my internet connection/signal is poor.
 
One race I had this happen, the race before was a NASCAR race and the race that it happened in was a kart race. Everyone in the room had "fun" trying to avoid the NASKART.
 
Happened tonight,doing a one make race with the Merc SLS GT3,then we change car to the Scion FRS,we all go out and one fellow is still in a Merc haha.
Same performance for all cars but gee it was unnerving seeing that out there :)
 
This isn't new, been in since the beginning, but seems to happen a lot more lately. The funniest I seen was whenot my brother ran a race with the 07 roadster (miata, after changed to the focus st, and on track I still seen the miata. The race results and reply show a miata, but on take off burned the front tires.

Most frustrating part of your discussion is the inability to see all on the track.

Why is the word fun in quotation marks?
 
A room I race in always has karts for the first hour, so I see this quite often when we switch over to cars. Still makes me giggle every time. Same as when an Alfa Romeo Mito is keeping up with 500hp touring cars.

It *does* seem to be happening a lot more often though, after 1.14. To fix it you have to ask them to get on track, get off track, and then get back on again.

Thanks man, tried this Sunday night, this works.

I have a rule "IF YOU WIN you must retire car". This bug was causing lots of problems.

It happens every time when I host an open lobby. It's really annoying to instruct every player to join track twice.
Sometimes people don't understand what to do, only quit to pits and bug persists.

On a sidenote, there is another "dangerous" aspect related to this: imagine how many people get reported for cheating from people who are unaware of this glitch...

However, PD needs to fix this asap, of course along with their poor p2p code, so everyone sees all cars on track all the time! But I think these loading bar issues will persist forever; we have that huge bug since GT5 days, in all versions since 1.0. :(
 
It happens to me too, but I think I have found an easy solution without needing to exit the lobby. If this bug happens, change to an odd car and then take again the car you want to use for the race. I tried it many times and it worked.
